Last.fm is free only for those living in the US, UK or Germany.
If you are not in any of those countries then you get just 30 songs to hear. This changed on the 22nd of April, this year.
So, yeah, **** off Last.fm.

The radio helped me discover quite a few bands I never would have listened to if I didn't use it. And it's really not fair that they're only letting people from 3 countries have the radio for free.
