And that is pretty much all I got out the situation with the WKC review. *sigh* This is one of the reasons why I don't visit GS that much anymore, everything is based on review scores now so fanboys can get their self-satisfaction. At times it just gets really hard to sort through all the crap to find out what the player's opinion on the game really is. If I had followed all review scores to the letter I wouldn't have picked up and enjoyed Monster Hunter on the PSP with my friends and I actually would have picked up Modern Warfare 2. Now I'm not completely against review scores but nowadays they're just blown up to EPIC proportions by fanboys and trolls. I admit I used to be one of those people, but after some time away from the forums I began to realise how ridiculous it was to overreact to scores(mostly during the fanboy wars of the early PS3 years). Now I just compare different reviews and scores, filter out the faults and greatnesses of each title, and decide if I still wanna get the game or not. One thing I don't like in my games is if I pay full price for game that has too many glitches, bugs, or performance issues that the developer doesn't fix with a patch (which is why I avoided Fallout 3 and Bayonetta despite their good reviews). Also I like my games to be long and fun to play (which is why I loved R1 but hated R2). R2 got a higher score than R1 yet it's inferior to the game?

So those are my two cents about the whole review situation of WKC. I still wanna get the game but I'm probably gonna wait on it (since I'm still unemployed and in college atm) and save up for Heavy Rain and GOW3 (especially this game). What do you guys think?

UPDATE: MAG got an 8.0 on GS, hopefully most of this stupid chaos will die down.

Wow, this is my first blog post of the year! Whoo-hoo! As many of you probably already know, I moved mostly to Gametrailers and I hardly use GameSpot anymore. But I do visit from time to time and I decided to make a new blog regarding my recent visit to SacAnime, a small anime covention up in Sacramento. I gotta say they improved the convention last year with where they placed things. The main event of the entire convention were the guest panels with guests including voice actors Chris Sarandon (Nightmare Before Christmas, Princess Bride), Vic Mignogna (Edward-FMA, Ikkaku-Bleach), Travis Willingham (Colonel Mustang- FMA), and Laura Bailey (Lust-FMA, Maka-Soul Eater).

After several months of not posting anything on Gamespot I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Black Friday.... and Thanksgiving too though I'm a bit late. I'm pretty sure a lot of you were pretty psyched about some exciting Black Friday deals going on today and I hope you guys got what you wanted this year. I only did Gamestops "Buy 2, Get 1 for Free" deal on used games and so far I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. The games I got were:

A pretty cool and funny game so far.

An awesome game so far as well(my brother was overreacting with the difficulty, Demon's Souls was waaaaay harder).

Haven't gone too far into it so I don't have an opinion yet.

Hope you guys got what you wanted this year and if you didn't, Christmas is always around the corner.
