This is Frustrating
I installed Dawn of War 2 just fine.
It needed Games For Windows Live to work.
But....
before I can so much as play the BETA I need a CD key
I searched Forums, scoured the entire Internet
My CD key should be linked to my Dawn of War SoulStorm copy that I bought on Steam.
....The problem is: the Key requested by live is in the form:
*****-*****-*****-*****-*****
but my CD key for Soulstorm is in the form:
****-****-****-****-****
None of the forums even touched on this problem!?
I entered in my code many times and it hasn't worked yet.
How do I know its my CD Key?
1) I checked with my handy program called: Product Key Explorer
2) Start>Run>regedit and found the CD Key by mouse and keyboard
*) The CD Keys were identical
Either one of you knows about some super secret way to avoid logging into Windows Live to play the Beta or there are quite a few Trolls on those DoW 2 BETA forums.
My guess is the latter.
Anyway, if no one has any advice or kind words to subdo my anger atleast tell me if DoW 2 BETA is any good, worth buying, like Company of Heroes...
Or anything like that.
I suppose I can wait 4 days for the open BETA... if nothing else.

I found that other people had the same problem as me. I suppose I can wait 3 more days for the open Beta.
It seems to be the only solution to this problem.
.. I installed and played DoW2 beta without entering any cd-key .. btw.. whats your steam tag?To get the cd-key for dow2 beta to pop up again, i think you need to delete the beta and reinstall it.
