New TFU2 and new Arkham Asylum, along with The Old Republic and Mag, :)

I'm so excited for this coming year. It has so many new games that I just know are going to be better then or = to their predicessors, if anybody notices that I've left out a certain game feel free to comment on it.

BFBC 2 Beta: Is it all necessary?

As a diehard fan of the first BFBC game I knew I just had to get BFBC 2. And the beta allowed me to try out some of the new multiplayer features. And I have to say, I'm shocked at the new level of quality placed into the game. The physics works to a point that it seems years ahead of it's time and the new weapons and system of customization is a welcome set up, but I have to ask myself. Did they really need some of what they added to surpass the predicessor? The comedy from the old game, at least from the voice acting, is gone. It has been replace by random shouts of F*** and nothing else, the soldiers seem to shout it in game just for the he11 of it at some points. At the beginning of the map, attackers are placed in the far end of the field and are required to run/drive to the defender base over a sizeable distance. And during this long peaceful run before the war I hear soldiers shouting: F*** YES!!! and LET'S KICK SOME F****** RUSSIAN @$$!!!!!, they have to shout it for any and everything and frankly, it's a bit of a proverbial turn-off. I liked the previous games because of the comedy, the ability to laugh even when you lose and say oh well, maybe next time. But in this game hearing a commanding officer say in a grizzly voice: your f****** dead. Well, that makes you feel like a total failure. I can deal with the blood, and I love the new physics and graphics. I just want back the characteristic Bad Company humor, and for them to, at the very least, calm down with the F-bomb, if they have to include it, I'd prefer not to hear it in every f****** sentence.
