HAPPY HALLOWEEN FOOLS!!!!
So I haven't been hanging around Gamespot since I unwrapped my copy of Demon's Souls (or unstickered it) and, 50 hours in, I'm still having a blast, swinging my blessed mace in the unholy face of evil, and falling down holes, a lot. Don't listen to the hype about the difficulty: mind you, conceptually, it's very difficult, what with the loss of souls (which doubles as experience and currency) when you die, but if I've learned anything from RPGs, the level grind and a farmer's hat fixes EVERYTHING. Eventually you'll be so strong that you won't die... as much.
This experience brings back so many reveries of memorizing level designs back in the NES days... oh Contra. Compared to some of the bilious sacks of hatred which comprises the gaming experiences of my early years, Demon's Souls is a breath of fresh air, albeit from hell. Anyways, it's a pleasure to be frustrated again, and not because of a flaw in game design.
Has anyone read that Walking Dead graphic yet? I heard they are making into an HBO series...
Possible: More Drinky, Less Smokey?!!!?
