Anyone that reads this and owns an Xbox 360 owes to themselves to download and buy Braid for XBL arcade. This game is simultaneously hilarious, melancholy, charming, and fun, and the music is awesome. The artistic direction in this game is brilliant -- sort of like playing mario brothers as if it were transformed into an animated portrait in the National Gallery. It's a thinking man's (or woman's) 2D platformer, and any dude who's experienced heartbreak can relate to the surprisingly captivating story. Play this.

I played the demo and loved it. $15??? I dunno - that's a bit steep, but if it drops to $10, it's a definite buy. The music and artistic style was very nice, and I was describing it to my Halo clan as "like super mario brothers, but artsy." I'll probably play it again (the demo) this weekend.

Agreed. I downloaded it yesterday and am loving it thus far. The puzzles are getting pregressively challenging, but I am enjoying figuring them out. It is certainly more than I would have expected out of an XBLA game. Go Braid.

The game was fantastic. Moving. Heartbreaking. Mind-melting. Loved every second of it, even as i suffered through puzzles i could not figure out for the longest time.
