Awards keep pouring down on America Ferrera's head, while she's doing what many other actresses refuse from the start: playing the ugly.
Her courage to let herself "bettified" for "Ugly Betty" was what led America Ferrera to this stunning success, as there is no easy way to get the Golden Globe, the Screen Actors Guild and the Emmy awards, in a strike. Not to mention that she succeeded to get to a halt the award winning course of the – at the moment, well established fixtures – Desperate Housewives.
Let's hope that the beautiful – actually – America Ferrera will get other parts, in more meaningful movies, as I think that she has a lot to say as a climbing actress.

The "Lost" star has all the ingredients to make it big. After he trained with "Party of Five", in his early career, he was more than ready to take on a greater role. Being Jack Shepard in the ABC series got Matthew Fox on the trampoline. Having a handsome face is on the recipe, and there was no much wonder when People Magazine put Matthew Fox among the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World, almost 12 years ago.
Now we can say that Matthew matured beautifully and he did it as an actor, as well. I regretted when he did not get the Golden Globe award, but I believe that the future holds more good things for him.

And it is not just an opinion, as in 2007, Forbes told the world what we already suspected: that Heidi is among the best paid super-models. Appearing on television shows, like "Spin City", or "Sex and the City", is beneficial for Heidi's career. She manages to stay in the spotlight, and she makes big money while doing it.

Skeet Ulrich is one of those actors that manage to create a career in the industry, but without provoking too much fuss around them. Does this mean that you can still make a more than decent living, even if you are not a big big star? Yeah, I guess so.
He still get the opportunity to play next to great actors, which may have been good for his career and his acting. I kinda liked him in "As Good as It Gets", where Jack Nicholson proved who is still big as an actor. But his appearance on "Jericho", which could have meant his confirmation, did nothing to save the show. As his career does not stop now, I think that there will be other chances for Skeet Ulrich.

Young and talented, this is what most people think, when you mention the name of Kristen Bell.
Among the younger generation, being able to act on Broadway is nothing to be shy about. On the contrary, building up a career is more than just getting roles for large amounts of cash, it is also about what you really know, meaning great acting.
Still I loved her most on "Veronica Mars", where she played that likable character that brought her the breakthrough she needed. I believe that she is still underrated as an actress and that she should win more awards, important ones.

The thing is you would not think, when you see him, with that calm demeanor, that he can be such a great source of laughter. But he is a great example of "less is more", and I guess that made me one of his fans. His part in "40 Year-Old Virgin" just announced what was about to happen. It seemed that Steve's experience of working as a correspondent for the Jon Stewart Daily Show finally paid off. And big, as after his winning at the Golden Globe for "The Office" made of Steve Carell one of the most sought after actors to be distributed in new movies.

Playing in over seventy movies must mean a lot, especially when you come from an artistic family, like Kiefer Sutherland. I personally like him a lot in "A Few Good Men", but the role that really put him on top of my list of favorite actors is his appearance on "24".
After winning the Emmy award for his role in the fifth season on this TV show, he finally got to be equal with his father, another Emmy award winner. And I think that it is right that it happened this way. There are actors that go by only by their looks or their strikes of luck, by getting some good parts in famous movies, but Kiefer Sutherland is the living example that hard work and commitment are a must in this industry, as well.

It seems that nothing can be a too great challenge for this beautiful and talented girl. Tyra is one of the coolest example that beauty and brains can get along, no matter what other people say. Who would have thought that the hottie charming the catwalk in Milan and Tokyo, will snatch an Emmy for a talk show? And yet she did it with The Tyra Banks Show.
Even though she appeared on TV shows as a secondary character, like on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and "Felicity", she still was able to add the needed salt and pepper. I am very glad that she continues her career and she is more than just a gorgeous model.

"Grey's Anatomy" finally did justice to this underrated actor, whom I love to watch on the medical drama from ABC. In my opinion, this intelligent and handsome artist managed to stay away from copycat roles, even during his early career. Maybe he was out of luck, or simply the agents did not see in him the potential of a star, but he was not distributed in big pictures, so it is now the time for him to build a reputation. Derek Sheperd was not the first medical like figure Patrick Dempsey auditioned for. He seemed to know where the key to his affirmation is, as he first tried to get a role in "House", another medical drama. Second time lucky, he is now well known for his role and his talent finally discovered, in "Grey's Anatomy".
