Hey Everyone okay?

This is the last you'll have to hear of Kingdom Hospital, as I've finished the series - very good indeed . I've also finished watching all the X-Files series one eps I hadn't seen - an average season where many of the stories are sadly not that good, but oh well.

TV's helping me cope with the boredom of the summer holidays and the fact that I miss my friend ...kind of feels really pathetic to miss someone a lot, but oh well - seeing her next week

TV Reviews

Kingdom Hospital:

On the Third Day - not really relevant to the main story...or is it? I dunno! But this is still great TV as a priest comes back from the dead, bringing a wave of miracles in his wake. Very good. 8/10

Seizure the Day - a bit too much brain surgery for my liking here! But it makes for some horrible images, and there are some very funny moments here too. 7/10

Shoulda Stood in Bed - with a sense of things to come throughout, this sets the series up well for the final episode. 8/10

Finale - although being a double-length episode means this is quite slow for the first half, it is still very good, and the conclusion gives both a happy ending to the characters, and leaves the viewer with a teasing cliff-hanger. Overall, a great series. 9/10

The X-Files:

Shapes - one of the better eps of the first series, it has some nice horror bits that work well. 7/10

Darkness Falls - a season one highlight, with a creepy and interesting plot. Rubbish effects compared to what we have today, but ya can't have everything. 9/10

Born Again - a stupid story, but with a few creepy moments. 7/10

Lyrics for the Blog (from Pure Morning - by Placebo)

A friend in need is a friend indeed

A friend who bleeds is better

My friend confessed she passed the test

And we will never sever

Quotes of the day (from Mock the Week)

--- Things you wouldn't hear on a driving test ----

"When I slap the dashboard with my forehead, I'd like you to crawl out of the wreckage and fetch help"

"If I fail, can I still keep driving my taxi?"

"On my signal, I'd like you to mount the pavement and kill my ex-wife"

And a poem by me (you lucky people )

You give me nothing

When I give you everything

When you were lost and alone

Crying and hiding from the world

I took care of you

Hugged you, told you everything would be okay

But now I am suffering and you give me nothing

And I still do everything I can to help you

An endless one way system

And it's killing me
