I dont know how anyone can say this movie was good. Based on a novel or anything else, this movie is a TOTAL rip of 3 other movies.
One: Gladiator, the main character was like a clone of russelcrowe, I mean they even use the same music at the end.
Two: Alexander, yes yes i know its how it went in History, but once uve seen one story based on the Spartans uvse seen them all *yawns*
and Three: There were a LOT of lord of the rings type elements to this film.

I could have directed a better film, all they did was throw is a couple slap dash slow mo shots and glued the other films together.
I was shocked at the end of this and i wont be watching it again.
