Today I spent the morning at the range.
I qualified with my M4 Carbine and performed numerous advanced marksmanship drills. Shooting while kneelng, standing, walking, firing controlled pairs, and on full auto. I love the carbine, but it is time for a new weapon. I will post more on this later, but the new one is better than ever.
I also had a chance to shoot with the EOTech sight and the ACOG, that ACOG is sweet with 3x magnification. I was able to walk and shoot while hitting a steel target at 100M
Well, 3000 rounds later I am ready for some peace and quiet.

Sweet Sounds like fun. Makes me want to go target shooting now. 
But I'll have to settle for my little old .22 rifle.

star - most gun shops have or know of a good indoor range, usually you can test fire anything for a small fee

shewolf - the .22 is America's small game hunter! I have a .22 long rifle as well.
C-mil & kc - my head will be ringing much more when I shoot some AK-47s next week!
