I refuse on Dissidia: FF. Also, Dark Hero Days isn't out until September 8th; but I'm still not getting it as D2 is my least favorite of the 3 Disgaea games.

@ jt4mtb: Ohh seriously? do you not think Disgaea 2 is worth it im sure the guy on Ebgames told me that its coming on the 25th this month.. will check it out again tomorrow and make sure? im buying it cuz i never had the chance the buy the ps2 version.. Dissidia will be a great game why not?

The GS gamespace, Gamestop product page, and Amazon all list D2 Dark Hero Days as September 8th as of this posting. I've already got the original PS2 version. It's a good game, but it's the only one in the series I haven't been compelled to replay or do post-game stuff on for whatever reason.

As for Dissidia, 1) I'm not enamored with all things FF. Haven't been that impressed with anything Square has done in years. And 2) when it comes to fighting games, I largely prefer more traditional fighters with great amount of depth. I'll play the hell out of Blazblue, SF2, and Garou:MotW; but I can't really stand the gameplay style of stuff like the Naruto and DBZ fighters (which is what Dissidia appears to be similar to). They're more about flash than tactical depth.

Out of that list, I am only interested in getting Batman Dark Asylum. Disgaea is pretty fun too, might get that as well.

@jt4mtb: I completely agree with you there on FF Dssidia.

I have the Japanese version of the game, and even after about 25 hours or so of playtime, I still can't get the feeling of they-put-stuff-together-so-fans-could-gobble-it-up-and-get-away-with-a-mediocre-fighting-system out of my head.

I'll probably be getting Disgaea 2 though. Haven't played it yet.

I got all those games too, excpet the ps2 one. FIrst was ff:d and i played that for 2 weeks straight, and batman.. FF I finished about 7 of the characters quest for the crystal. Do you know if the villians get their own chapters too when you go to the second part (want to finish all the character quests first)? Disgaea 2 though has been my most played game yet. I got into the series with Disgaea 3 no less, never even knowing it existed. And fell in love with it. I have since got both psp games, and D2 is by far much better than d1 even though most disagree. I am loving the polished game d2 is on psp. Damn thing keeps me up till 4 am!! (I go to work at 9:am ...lol)
