I mean, seriously, how can one have a discussion about mature games or online behavior if the moderators cannot allow you to say ANYTHING that might offend SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE?
It would be one thing if the moderations were fair and standard, but how is it fair that someone can call me an idiot and NOT get moderated, and when I tell him that no on cares what he thinks it gets removed?
Or how is it fair that the semi-blanked word f** needs to be removed from a posting, and yet the semi-blankedword F*** is acceptable on another guy's sig line?? I used f** in discussing online vocabulary, NOT as a derogatory word that I was calling someone.
And to top it all off, I'm not even a member of Gamefaqs--I am getting moderated form a site that I'm not a member of, and have no recourse or way to communicate with the moderators that are doing this.
Pretty soon, I'll have had enough, and I'll be done with Gamespot because of thier sister-site and thier hokey system of moderation. It's not like this is the only site on the internet for discussing games, I'm really just here because I have so much rank. THAT said, I quit giving them money because they refuse to fix the bugs in the site--like the problem with not being able to see any posts from Gamefaqs members until someone from Gamespot posts again--that has been happening for three months now, and Gamespot simply doesn't care enough to fix it.
This used to be a pretty good site, but it's getting pathetic at an alarming rate....
