This time I actually had a very good reason for blogging. Not that sharing your highlights and ranting a bit here and there can't be important. Tomorrow (today already over there in Australia) it's Stacey's (SassyMax) 23th birthday. So for that reason I wanted to post this blog to wish her a:

SUPER HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!!!

I hope you will have an awesome day with lots of fun and laughter, presents and more important: cake! So do you have any special plans buddy? Will Nats still be there tomorrow to celebrate your birthday together? You definitely deserve the best day possible, because you're such a great friend. Always there with a kind word, serious here and there, but funny most of the time. The way I like it! I'm very thankful for being your friend and I hope there will be many years to come! So I would say: let's keep those presents coming! Maybe you'll even get the ultimate present: a suprise visit from Jensen. Who knows right? Onto the next year!

So here are some yummy cakes and other delicious treats for all of you to share:

Chocolate: the most important ingredient!

If this won't be enough, I don't know what will!

And not to forget, some presents:

You'll never know what's inside!

Enjoy your day buddy!

Lief vir jou!

Oh and one other thing, I heard a lot about the black-out day tomorrow. I wasn't sure if I was going to participate or not, because on the one hand I think it's a good idea and something like this can never hurt. Then again, on the other hand I did want to post this blog and I didn't know if it would have any effect. But a friend of mine reminded me that since Australia is 8 hours ahead of me, I could still post this blog and not come on tomorrow. So I decided that's what I'm going to do. I'm not too happy about the new lay-out and I hate how they didn't pay enough attention to the community by making this changes. In my idea the community is the thing that's most important on this site and it's the thing that always makes me want to come here to share my stories and read those of others.

There are quite some things that are still bugging me, like the fact that you can't see more then 20 comments on your blog. I mean come on, if people take the time to leave me a comment (I love comments!), at least I want to be able to read them and respond to them. I'm also posting this blog through mp3.com, because I don't even know how to get pics on my blog anymore. I don't know if this black-out day will have any effect on the editors from this site, but at least we're making a stand and we're showing our opinion. And that's what's most important.

So I'll change my avatar in a little bit to show I support the cause!

See you all back here in two days!

My next blog will be all back to normal again, with a new round of the game.

*lots of hugs*

Hej all!

How have you all been? I've been good myself, just busy. My cl@sses in school on itself aren't that busy, but in the combination with working on my final paper and sport it's a whole other case. About three weeks ago, me and my mother joined the gym, so now I go there every Tuesday and Friday. I'm really enjoying it, and it feels good doing something that is good for you. I must say, because I was never used to having to go exercise two times a week in combination with school, it takes a bit of getting used to.

The past week was an exception in the rate of being busy (I hope ). On Monday I had work and a buckload of homework, on Tuesday I had the gym, on Wednesday I had to work on my final paper, on Thursday I had to work, and then on Friday I went to the gym again. On Saturday I always have to work the entire day and I also had a friend's birthday party in the evening. All and all, pretty hectic like I said. Normally I don't have to work during the week though, so I hope the upcoming week is going to be a litlle les hectic. Oke, so that was my rant for this week. Sorry about that people!

Moving on to other news, at the start of my summer holiday I started watching Supernatural. I slowly got addicted to the show, and since it was my holiday I watched all the episodes in guite a fast pace. Since school started the watching tuned down a bit, but I still watch it as often as I can. I can't go to long without my SPN watching and Jensen drooling of course! So two weeks ago I started the third season, and I'm almost done with that now. Luckily the new season starts this week, so I don't have to wait for the new episodes. I do think it's going to take some getting used to waiting for a new episode for a week, since I never had to do that so far. Yes, I know people I got spoiled! I'm super excited for the new season though, since the show is getting better and better. The third season is definitely my favourite so far. I still have a few episodes to go, so don't tempt me with telling me how it's going to end, I want to see for myself!

The other day someone asked me how many shows I was watching at the moment, and I realised I only watch one show on tv. Almost everything else I watch on the computer or from dvd. This is because of the fact, that Holland is always some months behind with (or even more) the airing of shows, in comparision to America. For example, here they are at the 10th episode of the first season from SPN, while the 4th season in already starting this week! So of course I can't wait that long for the new episodes all my favourite shows, so I watch it on the computer. This week I'm going the watch the first episodes of the new seasons of Prison Break and Gossip Girl. I'm really looking forward to them! Expecially PB, since Sara is back!

Oke, so the movie I've been looking forward to this year is The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants 2. That might sound a bit lame, but I really have. I read the book a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed reading it. Then, by coincidence, a little while after that we watched the movie at my friend's house. I didn't even know they made a movie out of it, until I saw the title of the book rolling onto the screen. The movie was great and so was the cast. Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera (the three A's ) and Blake Lively all starred in it. So when I heard that there was going to be a part 2 I was very excited! I think it's funny that at the time of the first movie, Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls) and Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia) were the more famous ones and now at the time of the second movie, America Ferrera stars in Ugly Betty and Blake Lively stars in Gossip Girl. The eye candy in the movies aren't something to complain about either. Mike Vogel (it's oke if you never heard of him before, before the movie I never heard of him either ) was the yummy eye candy in the first movie and yesterday I heard Jesse Williams (another, not so famous, but yummy man) was going to star in part 2. Plus, Michael Rady stars in both part 1 and 2 as well.

So here's a picture of all three of them:

Mike Vogel

Jesse Williams

Michael Rady

(Oke, so he may not seem all that great here, but in the movie he was cute! )

Oh and one more thing before we start the game. Christine (Missy854) is leaving for her holiday to Greece this thursday and so I wanted to wish her an awesome time over there! So have a great time over there buddy! I'm sure that won't be a problem, Greece sounds like an amazing country to me. Enjoy it to the fullest and take lots of pictures of course!

And then we have the next round of the game:

This actress made an appearance in an episode of the tv-show Seinfeld, so did her co-host from another tv-show she starred in. What actress am I talking about?

(Hint: this actress has something do with one of the actresses mentioned on this blog.) Good luck guessing everyone!

Oke, so here's the score we have so far:

Natalie - 1 point

David - 1 point

Leo - 1 point

Hayley - 1 point

This week's quote:

Tibby: How old are you, anyway? 10?
Bailey: I'm 12!
Tibby: Same difference.
Bailey:
No, when I was 10 I didn't have an iPod.
Tibby: Mhm, you're so cool. And what do you listen to on there, teletubbies hit parade?

- Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

This week's joke/funny story:

The newlyweds
A young couple decided to wed. As the big day approached, they grew apprehensive. Each had a problem they had never before shared with anyone, not even each other. The Groom-to-be, overcoming his fear, decided to ask his father for advice. "Father," he said, "I am deeply concerned about the success of my marriage. I love my fiancée, very much, but you see, I have very smelly feet, and I'm afraid that my future wife will be put off by them." "No problem," said dad, "all you have to do is wash your feet as often as possible, and always wear socks, even to bed." Well, to him this seemed a workable solution.

The bride-to-be, overcoming her fear, decided to take her problem up her mom. "Mom," she said, "When I wake up in the morning my breath is truly awful." "Honey," her mother consoled, "everyone has bad breath in the morning." "No, you don't understand. My morning breath is so bad, I'm afraid that my new husband will not want to sleep in the same room with me." Her mother said simply, "Try this. In the morning, get straight out of bed, and head for the bathroom and brush your teeth. The key is, not to say a word until you've brushed your teeth. Not a word," her mother affirmed. Well, she thought it was certainly worth a try.

The loving couple were finally married in a beautiful ceremony. Not forgetting the advice each had received, he with his perpetual socks and she with her morning silence, they managed quite well. That is, until about six months later. Shortly before dawn, the husband wakes with a start to find that one of his socks had come off. Fearful of the consequences, he frantically searches the bed. This, of course, woke his bride and without thinking, she immediately asks, "What on earth are
you doing?" "Oh, no!" he gasped in shock, "You've swallowed my sock!"

That was it again! Hope you all enjoyed reading it! Enjoy the last day of the weekend and have an awesome week!

*lots of hugs*

Hej all!

I know, I know, it has been ages since my last blog. The last two weeks of my holiday went by way too fast! After I got back from my holiday to Germany, I only had one week left. In that week I hung out with friends a bit, I went back to work again and just tried to enjoy the last days to the fullest! And then, before you know it you're back in school again. It's my final year and I'm happy and at the same time unhappy about that. Happy, because this means that after this year I'm finally done with high school and I can go and do whatever education I want. I'm also a bit unhappy about it, because I'm definitely NOT looking forward for my exams. I don't have to worry about that yet though, so for now it's all good!

In our final year we have to do a so called graduation essay, which you have to work on through out the year. You can pick your own topic though and me and my friend picked the loss of memory among elderly people. You have to spend 80 hours on it, which is quite a lot, but I'm just happy you can do it about something you're interested in. Right away, on the first day back at school, we started on our essay and we've been working on it quite some hours already this week. I think all the teachers think it's important that we get off to a good start and I guess they're right. You always tend to put everything off until the last minute, and with this that's just not an option. So that means no easy start this year, and right away a lot of work.

Well the mean reason for this blog was actually something else. Exactly today, one year ago I joined this awesome site. Yes people, it's my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

I must say the year has gone by pretty fast! I've met so many AWESOME people on here, and for that I'm very thankful. When I joined this site I never thought something like that would happen, but it has. I enjoy coming here to post blogs, in which I can share my experiences, vend my emotions, and chat with all of you of course. The fact that I have a such a place, where you can be just your own self, is something of great value for me. I love talking about all the shows I watch and so much more. So thanks you guys for making this such an awesome place to be!

An appropiate poem:

It has been quite some time as well since the last round of my game and now I'm finally going to put up a new one! Oke, so here it is:

This show was first turned down by a certain network and later on it was considered as a possible 10-part mini-series. A year later the network had a change of heart and backed the production. What show am I talking about?

All the chances are wide open for everyone! Good luck guessing!

Here's the score we have so far:

David - 1 point

Leo - 1 point

Hayley - 1 point

And then we have this week's quote:

Elaine Connelly: He... what? He infected you with life?
Old Paul Edgecomb: That's as good a word as any. He infected us both, didn't he, Mr. Jingles? With life. I'm a hundred and eight years old, Elaine. I was forty-four the year that John Coffey walked the Green Mile. You mustn't blame John. He couldn't have what happened to him... he was just a force of nature. Oh I've lived to see some amazing things Elly. Another century come to past, but I've... I've had to see my friends and loved ones die off through the years... Hal and Melinda... Brutus Howell... my wife... my boy. And you Elaine... you'll die too, and my curse is knowing that I'll be there to see it. It's my torment you see; it's my punishment, for letting John Coffey ride the lightning; for killing a miracle of God. You'll be gone like all the others. I'll have to stay. I'll die eventually, that I'm sure. I have no illusions of immortality, but I will await your death... long before death finds me. In truth, I wish for it already.

- The Green Mile

I watched this movie somewhere on my holiday and I must say this is one of the best movies I've ever seen. I heard a lot about it already, but never got to the part of actually seeing it. Well on my holiday I had the time to do so and I enjoyed every minute of it. I also read the book and I must say they did a tremendous job turning it into a movie. On top of the wonderful story, the acting is amazing as well.

And not to forget this week's joke/funny story:

A tough looking biker had been in the biker bar for quite some time when he finally decided it was time, once again to hit the road. He stepped through the front door of the bar and instantly realized that his bike had vanished from the spot he had parked it.

"All right" he said loudly, coming back into the busy biker bar "I'm going to have a shot of whisky and if my hog isn't back up front by the time I'm done, what happened in Detroit will happen here too!"

With that many of the bikers ran out of the bar and within moments one came back to tell the tough biker that his hog was now parked in front of the bar for him. When the tough guy started to leave the bartender asked him.

"Pardon me, stranger, but what happened in Detroit?" The tough biker replied casually: "I had to walk back to my hotel!"

That was it again! I hope you all enjoyed it!

Enjoy the last day of your weekend and have a great week!

*huge hugs*
