Well my cell phone has a built in store on it, so that's how I get mine. I guess it depends on who your carrier is. Well if I find any good places, i'll try to get back to you on that. And oh yeah. Congrats!!

there are loads of places but it depends on what kind of phone you have and your provider. some phones can't get ring tones or games unless you buy them through the store on your phone like setsuka said. btw, i felt the same way about cell phones too, i hated texting too untill i learned T9 makes it easier.

Congrats on joining the masses on cell phone users. I've had one since forever, (how long that is I'll never know) and finally made my way up to a rather good model. Though to be honest, I had to change my plan to unlimited because IN ONE MONTH, I hit a very, very high bill. We talk so much that having no cell phone is not an option for me lol. Since we ish getting married after all. But as to your last question, I have no idea where a good place is. Have of them are scams, and the rest are legit, and kinda expensive lol. But what do I know lol.

Don't know about ringtones 'cause I don't have one. Glad you are enjoying it.

Finally stepping into the future now with a cell phone =) Pretty much a necessity in life, for most people. As for the ring tones. if you just want songs. You can always transfer songs to your phone and play the ring tone like that. Mind you, it will just play about 25secs of the beginning of the song. Thats what I do with my phone. Enjoy!

I didn't like texting at first either Deatheart, but its pretty fun using it in my college courses. Easy way to kill time lol

Congrats! When I need a ringtone I just plug my (old and stupid) cellphone to my computer and load an mp3 song into it. Then I just go to the setting of the cellphone and choose it as the current ringtone. You can even use nero to "cut" a song in size so that it starts playing from the moment you want it to. For example you may just need the chorus of a song.
