I haven't had a chance to try Yoshi's Island DS (too busy with Elite Beat Agetns ) but I've heard great things about it.

EBA is a great game, Yoshi Island i good if you loved the original but it might be toned down a bit. But those two are some of the greatest out rigght now.

i have not played the original and i love yoshi.....so i think i will love it !!!!

EBA is quite stellar, I too hope that I get Yoshi's Island DS for Christmas. The Wii, plus stellar games for the DS, PS2 and GC; it's going to be great for me this holiday.

anyways,i haven't played any of these but im not buying elite agents...i think im gonna get yoshi's island ds

I have the following games: Yoshi's Island DS, New Super Mario Bros., Brain Age, Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, and Super Mario 64 DS. Currently I'm addicted to SM64DS, which I highly recommend. I like Yoshi's Island, but the attempt at making the game look like the original is too noticeable. It would have been better if they just handed the game to the original designers. Why the picked Artoon is beyond me. MvsDK2 is an awesome game, if you like puzzles and using the stylus (which I do). My next DS game will be Sonic Rush. I'm a long time Sonic fan since the days of Genesis and GameGear so the chance to play this game on my DS is too good to pass up. I'm not into hack and slash or games based on music so I can't recommend any of those.

i don't know why but when i was done with super mario 64 i didn't want to play it again...unlike some of the other games i have...
