To say I love General Hospital's Elizabeth Webber and her portrayer Rebecca Herbst would probably be an understatement. Aside from being a gorgeous person, Rebecca is an amazingly talented actress. She's able to convey the most complex of emotions with a subtlety that leaves her audience hanging on every word. She never relies on over the top hystrionics or cliched methods garner sympathy. Elizabeth is a believable and relatable character because Rebecca, despite her breathtaking looks, focuses on her character's humanity.
I'm sad to say I missed the first year of Rebecca's tenure on General Hospital, but I've been hooked since 1998 and I counldn't be happier that I have Ms. Herbst to thank for that.

I really only know Gigi from her role as Chiana in the fantastic Farscape, but that is more than enough to prove to me that all the best actors seem to be from Australia.
Okay, not really, but sometimes I wonder.
Gigi is the type of actor who attacks her roles with fierce determination and a passionate desire to create something at once original and universal. As Chiana, she's something entirely unique. A monochromatic alien, prone to standing with her limbs akimbo and speaking with a breathy lilt. But it's impossible not to relate to her fears, hopes, and desires.
I've had the pleasure of seeing Gigi in person and her energy is intoxicating.
Keep an eye on this one. She's capable of greatness.
