and they were SOOO right. Castlevania Judgement, the most recent "installment" in the castlevania series is by far the worst.

I'll start off by saying the computer is the oddest i've ever seen.  One minute they don't seem to be attacking and you win, the next fight they'll kick your ass without you getting a hit in, and im not saying like thats the transition from first to last leve, i'm saying on level 1 and 2 it may be hard as hell then 3 you will win 1st match untouched. Its so inconsistent and skewed. It doesn't make any sense, then you get to Dracula... and good luck beating that **** head on normal.

2nd is design, I dont know what they were thinking with the deathnote guy. Hell, death looks like the main characters demon guy from deathnote, and by that I mean retarded.

One thing I liked was the return of characters long lost, cornell especially. Some of them look great and I'm glad to see their return, others... Carmilla especially... not so much. They turned her into a total slut with some bad ass scorpion spear move. She doesn't look anything like the other castlevania characters (EVER). The design isn't even like the DS versions with the anime style, we're talking full on anime. Its bull ****.

Finally we come to the gameplay, most important part of all. Konami sure did drop the ball on this one. Really, its pitiful. I picked it up at least expecting a 2d plane type (not 2d but in the movements I mean, Tekken, MK, soul Calibur style) I was disappointed to find that it basically feels like you are playing one of the PS2 castlevania's except 1 on 1 with another fighter, and not as fun. Infact I'm willing to say this game is no fun, I can't say I enjoyed myself at all through playing even 1 match.

I was expecting this game to be bad, but not THIS bad. This is wreched. This is an abomination, and to even purchase this game is a sin. I hope for the love of god no one buys this game. Its horrible, and I'd rather no see the castlevania series go down the wrong path.. again.

And for the love of god will someone explain "cyborg" dracula?

He literally looks like a cyborg...

Big surprise. I certainly wasn't expecting it, but I really like this game. I went ahead and used my new priviledges as an employee of gamestop to rent this game out and see what a laugh it was. I thought it was going to be quite dull, but after getting through my first match I found that I can enjoy this game quite a bit.

Its still a little bit primitive and slow compared to current, or even last gen fighters, but its the best MK (although thats not saying much) in YEARS. Probably since trilogy.

Its well balanced, the moves are fun to watch and the character selection may not be huge, but its surprisingly diverse, including a couple characters ive never heard of... okay one character ive never heard of (deathstroke).

Its probably not worth the $60 to most people, but it is WELL worth a rent or a demo or whatever you will. I will probably end up buying it in all honesty because I can see myself having a lot of fun with my friends in this one

Also, don't let the T warning scare you too much. The game isn't as bloody as it used to be, no more 6 spine 7 skull fatalities, but some of the things in this game will make you say ouch. Its certainly brutal for a teen rated game (quite frankly with the gore, im surprised it is teen, the damage effects are pretty nasty looking.)

Earlier this week I got Saints Row 2 with a $65 reward zone card and with fond memories of the first in hand I went home and began to play. In my opinion, this game beats GTA4 to a bloody pulp. This is what everyone wanted GTA4 to be.

The graphics are kinda meh, they seem a lot like the first games, but the environment seems overall much bigger because about 10% of the buildings you can actually go into which gives it a much higher sense of depth. The story is a lot more interesting than I thought, at first it was pretty stupid, but as the game kept going I got more and more absorbed. The gameplay is much like the first game, but even better.

I hope to get around to a more full length review but I have to go get fallout soon. So I can't at the moment. I will definately try to get around to it, but I mainly wanted to tell you all, get this game if you have the cash!

Some people just don't have opinions. Like falconclan.
falconclan must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could falconclan possibly have for not rating a single film?
