Despite the almost complete absence of Miss Fritton, this was still enjoyable. Flash Harry is a great character and the female police constable is hilarious, as are the antics of the 4th formers.

Funny role reversal. We're all used to seeing these prim and proper British boarding schools, so to see this school is like a breath of fresh air.

This movie catapulted Julia Roberts into stardom and deservedly so. Both she and Richard Gere are excellent in this fairytale romantic comedy. No it's not very realistic, but it's never meant to be. The performances, on the other hand, are very realistic. The setting is great, even minor characters are portrayed perfectly. Yes it's probably a chick flick, but it's a great one that's become a classic.

Another pre McDreamy Patrick Dempsey flick. Another romantic comedy that has stood the test of time. It still won't win any awards, but it's unpretentious entertainment and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Enjoyable teen romantic comedy firmly rooted in the eighties. Patrick Dempsey, long before McDreamy, did a few of these teen comedies and while they won't win script-writing Oscars, they're well made and still entertain today.

A fun trip down memory lane with some aaawwww moments and some LOL moments. A good mix between comedy and buddy movie!!

Enjhoyable piece of fluff, no Oscar-winning script but not too bad either and the actors do a good enough job. Always a joy to see Lindsay Wagner again, even though she's underused in this movie.

Good sequel, not as great or original as the first one but still fun. I loved the 'interval' where they break the movie and the references to others movies were fun too. Still very watchable...

Slow-paced but enjoyable movie. I did not recognise the names of any of the actors, but they did a good job. Liked the script too, may even read the book at some time. I wonder what the 2008 version will be like.

While beautifully shot and featuring good acting, I don't get it. What was the script writer or the director trying to say ??? There are so many mixed messages in this movie that it's hard to make sense of it.

Great dance moves, slightly convoluted script. Enjoyable to watch though, if only for a look at a political past.

Great dancing, but a terrible script with a tenuous link to part 1. The cast does an OK job but it just isn't enough.
