GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

So i took a bunch of old Playstation games that I have had sitting around for some time (I had beaten them all) in to my local video game retailer and sold them. I was expecting to maybe get $20 for them, enough for another decent used game maybe.

Wow, i was way off. I got $50 (apparently a couple were considered "Rare" and earned me quite a bonus) and was able to trade in for Half-Life 2! Finally, I can know what the fuss is all about. It'll be interesting to see how my budget rig handles one of the more graphically advanced games out there. We'll see soon, won't we?

Here's what I traded in:

PS2 Smackdown; Shut Your Mouth
PS2 Devil May Cry
PS2 Dynasty Warriors 2
PS2 LOTR: FOTR
PS2 LOTR: Two Towers
PS2 Onimusha
PSX Suikoden (Rare, apparently)
PSX Resident Evil 2 (Also Rare, apparently, which was surprising)
PSX Evil Dead: Hail to the King
PSX Mortal Kombat 4
PSX Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

In exchange, HL2. Worth it, if you ask me. Especially since I can remember what I paid for all these games, and it came out to $90 total (I was working retail and had a nice discount). Cool.

Great! you finally got HL2! I hope to see you on CS:Source soon! Be sure to post in your journal how it looks on your 5700, I wonder if my 6600 GT was worth the money, and I want to compare visuals!
