I say that most games to movies, except Resident Evil, Lara Croft, and Silent Hill, are a faliure. Remember Doom, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and of course Bloodrayne? I don't mind DOA or Mortal Kombat, but the rest will or already have pretty much bombed.

I agree. I didn't like doom, super mario bros or Bloodrayne. Another one that was a failure was Alone in the dark. I just didn't like it. Tomb Raider and Silent hill are good movies but not incredible. I really expect that Silent Hill 2 will be better than the first one. My favorite until now was Resident Evil. I expected more but it was good anyway. I wanted to see Leon and I probably will but in a CG movie. I prefer to see a real actor playing Leon but I have to accept a graphic Leon. The third RE wasn't as good as the second one but it was still a great movie. I really want to see another Final Fantasy movie but with real actors, not CG movies. And maybe a Fatal Frame terror movie. I like japanese horror movies and I think would be a good choice. I almost forgot: Prince of Persia!!!! A movie of the prince without a name!

I think most video game to movie adaptations are made of FAIL but Resident Evil and Silent Hill surprised me. I didn't much like the introduction of Alice in RE but it had Jill in the second movie and that one was pretty good but I haven't seen the third one yet. Silent Hill was just.... freaky, but in a good way .
