The trailer was rad. I really enjoyed the dynamic of contrasting the ideal Martian society being presented in the beginning to the reality which it seems to be in the game. Kinda reminds me of the dysfunctional utopia of 1984, but I doubt that was the vibe you were all going for.
Still, you all get props. It was schweet. ^_^

Greetings folks,
We appreciate the kind words ^_^
This is the first teaser and development screen shots. As we continue to develop the game we will continue to polish and evolve our characters until they shine with dirt and dust :-D For reference, a next gen quality character can have more than 6 months of attention put into it just for the model these days! We did this in less than 3, part-time. There's still a long way to go ^_^
The lighting and shadowing you see is our first stab at a global post processing solution that will adjust contrast and color in our title. Most other games coming out today are focusing on things like bloom and softening the lighting in the scene.
We're going for something different and more stylized. I'm not sure when our next public showing will be but this is the first taste. See you next time space cowboy ;-)

awesome trailer!
excellent audio and visuals. i especially like how it flickers between the drawings of the city and what the city looks like in the game. or at least one part of it. i also enjoyed being able to see the fire effect on the car in the road that was blurred out in the Indievelopment series.
i wouldve liked to have seen more gameplay elements in the trailer...but i guess teasers arent exactly supposed to show you much.
