After reading through the knowledgebase, and other member's tips for submissions, I decided to submit the seven episodes of NOVA scienceNOW that existed. None had already been posted, so I started by only submitting the first episode. Just in case I misunderstood something, I didn't want to submit everything and have it all rejected. To my surprise, it was accepted that same day. So I proceeded to submit the remaining episodes after my "test" was successful.

Unfortunately, all the remaining episodes were rejected. It wasn't that the information was wrong, but it seems that the moderator knew so little about the show itself; they couldn't understand why it would be right. It simply didn't meet their expectations for the layout of a show, and my lack of commentary didn't help.

For better or for worse, the name of each episode is NOVA scienceNOW. Since it is a magazine-style show covering several subjects in each release, it maintains the same title across episodes. For now, it is still a part of the regular NOVA series, given that it airs in the same time slot. TV.com, however, lists the two separately. Perhaps that's why they didn't understand the infrequent, seemingly illogical nature of the schedule.

Unfazed, I immediately resubmitted all the same information. Although this time I added a more thorough comment, which included some of the above, and everything was accepted. Apparently, good comments go a long way.
