Writing this 51st blog post means I get a new emblem: the journal! I'll be at 500 forum posts soon and I want to get 1,000 contributions and maybe 2,000 by the end of the summer. In celebration of this, I'm including the Top Ten Gilmore Girls couples!

10. Chris & Lorelai

9. Dave & Lane

8. Maury & Babbette

7. Richard & Emily

6. Zach & Lane

5. Dean & Rory

4. Jackson & Sookie

3. Kirk & Lulu

2. Jess & Rory

and, finally...

1. Luke & Lorelai

Last night I watched the second episode of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." I found it to be better than last week's episode, which was definitely a plus. Amy has decided that her pregnancy has "never happened." Ricky seems to want to get back in with her but she and Ben are getting closer and closer. Amy and Ashley's dad is as annoying as ever and Molly Ringwald's character gets even more clueless. Grace and Jack have broken up, and I have to give major props to Mr. Kent--I mean Dr. Grace's Dad, because he is not as in-your-face Christian and more realistic dad-like. Adrian is still a bad girl and ironically I felt like I had seen the episode before somewhere. The guidance counselor scenes are actually pretty funny, and Secret Life could definitely make it. I wish they showed it during the school year, but I can also see why they would put it on in the summer for the parents' sake. I will definitely keep watching this show. It looks like next week Amy will tell her sister Ashley that she's having a baby. I was wondering how long she could keep that up. Ricky said that band camp was six weeks or so ago, so two months is probably when she'd start showing. I never thought that after "7th Heaven" was over, I would be watching BRENDA-VISION again. Isn't life funny?
