Taking a quick break from my Top 20 Video Game Song listing, which sadly gives me little attention towards this one as Sunday I commence the continuation of My T20-VGS Blogs...a little about myself so others can know some information about ME.
Recently I have taken a different path in life; being very harsh and mean in the real world and at often times very angry, I've discovered a different outcome for all it. As some of you may know, I worked briefly at a job before getting the boot because of some false rumor of me not working, resulting in some authorities believing it and giving me the let go. I was hard to deal with it, angry and bitter and in some way paranoid about the terms of Trust; if you can't trust one person then perhaps you can't trust any other person...co-workers, strangers, even family or friends. What I've come to realize is that I was too stuck up anything and I was situated with a life altering choice...what I believe in.
That said, I became closer to God, taking religion more seriously and believing in myself that I was too distant to be someone who could let go, always gripping onto the things I enjoyed and taking no real action outside of what was common. Dealing with church, community events, and even youth ministries. Though I am not the typical Christian, I still enjoy playing games and watching movies, or even animes; I hold my own focus and tend not to become persuaded by the root of evil - we all have our breaking points: anger, lust, envy, and even addictions or indulgence, we are tested and challenge through our course in life. Sure I listen to Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for My Valentine, Muse, and others but I don't take those into reflection in my personal style but more of a theme of myself (in other words, a kid who plays a game to have fun, or a kid who plays Halo resulting in a mindless reaction to kill man in a simulation contest projected towards reality...use your own judgment by what I mean - just don't assume my point is in vain).
Besides the religion, gaming for me has been mixed but mostly rpgs are my center piece (though varied titels; not ALL) as well as most 3rd person action / adventure games, most notable are Way of the Samurai or Bushido Blade 1 + 2; the openness of combat just appeals to me...more than FPS (which are great, but I'm not very good at them so I can't say I like them as much). Also, because I'm sure I might never be tagged for being in my own little world and not sure how tagging goes, and because I'm bored, I would just say I'll go ahead and list 20 facts about myself because I feel that TRUST, whether you believe in it or not builds stronger character towards others about yourself.
So, a little about myself somewhat covered, the facts whether you like them or not - are facts are about me, from me
- I started smoking since the age of 13 til current. Have tried quitting but a long habit such as that is pretty hard to break, but I can say I have been trying - it's been a struggle.
- I suffered from DKA (Wikipedia) twice in my life; once on my 12th birthday (best birthday gift
), and the second previous Summer. - Like #2, upon my 12th birthday, I was hospitalized and came into the world of Type 1 "Diabetes"...Not a fun experience.
- I am trying to get a degree of some sort in Web Design; always trying to spffy up blogs by trendy discoveries - which gamespot doesn't always 'appreciate'.
- I play both Rock Band and Guitar Hero on either hand; each own hand has it's flaws and advantages. Got up to Raining Blood on Expert-Lefty on GH3 - only song I have not beaten on the MAIN setlist.
- I hate ketchup and french fries, often using mustard and / or other condiments into some "unique mustard", to go along with french fries other than ketchup.
- Unlike some people, I am neither afraid of dolls, clowns, or needles...ALSO, very unlike most people, I rather enjoy dolls, clowns and needles.
- I have 3 brothers, no sisters - and I am a guy, not a girl, to clarify #7; nor am I gay!!!
- Perhaps I played with needles too much. I've pierced my face approximately 13 times (1-nose, 2-eye brow, 2-lip, 6-lobe 2-helix piercings)
- I have seen more shooting stars at night than I can even keep track of...so far the count exceeds 10, that's for certain.
- I once found a Western Painted Turtle in the middle of the road. At first I thought it was just an empty turtle shell, even more surprised to find it was actually alive. I took her home and made her a pet, she seemed happy.
- Like my Super Powers Top 10, I am intrigued by the mysteries of Time Traveling and Time Paradoxes and the "what-if's" behind them.
- I suck at grammar despite using elaborate characters like semi-colons or significant amount of commas.
- I used to work as a custodian for a region-wide movie theater chain. Some of the stuff people leave behind afterwards are quite odd.
- I own a crappy '94 Ford Tempo. Each time I have to start it up by, popping my hood, and bypassing the starter switch...which doesn't work. That's what I mean by crappy.
- I sometimes dislike the "popular" trend of games, movies, music, or even fashion.
- I'm terrified of Cedar Point's SKY RIDE, not kidding. Although I'm terribly afraid of heights, it should be no wonder - especially when you're free to roam and dumbasses rock the stupid carriages you're in!!!
- I simply love to watch animes, such as; Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Death Note, Those Who Hunt Elves, Slam Dunk, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ranma 1/2, and many others I can't think of.
- I'm horrible with Javascript...
- My computer monitor is really a 37-inch HD TV, which isn't fun when all the font characters are tougher to read from a distance than up close. Plus cordless keyboard can't register from this distance too.
