The world is a big place, getting lost on a big piece of rock floating in the emptiness of space, one can only wonder if it's possible to hit the ground of the universe and say to him or herself, "I've really hit rock bottom!" Many games have the theme of traveling through the reaches of space, visiting many strange places and discovering new characters. Star Wars has set the example of what is not of this world but rather, what is of this galaxy and adventures throughout the galaxy unfold. Space, like the ocean, holds the high majority of all realistic existence of life, so it's no bother to find yourself getting lost in space really sucks; no trees, no roads, no significant design to draw a familiarity....and because of space, this one deals with that...and some stupid giant comet, even though it really doesn't have much to deal with space in the first place. Man I can't think straight.
Dealing with adventures and traveling around in some epic quest to save ALL, should one simply forget the emotion in those times? Not I, for the this one, number 14 deals with a great theme I can't accurately describe but despite that it gets the 14th spot. Number 14...whether you agree with it or not is Main Theme / World Map, from Final Fantasy 7 for the Playstation 1. While the music is subtle, for me it's very empowering and I JUST HAD TO have it and those days of venturing around...whatever they called the planet; Gaia? This song, more often than not was heard highly and so for me it stuck really well...and if you were like me the first time then you'll probably understand the whole game does not take place in some city (I was young, and impatient. I blame prescribed drugs
). So even if you don't like the game, or the music, I would say that this song is great - even if you hear it composed by an orchestra, I love it...but why 14? Well that's easy, lots of other games out there, and so many other songs from video games. Enjoy the rest of the features; more to come.
Well I hope you enjoyed this one, who knows what sort of reaction I might receive upon the others - but to address certainty, some games WILL be featured more than once, some more than twice but I'm not saying which, yet some won't even be mentioned at all...screw you Dr Mario, you give me a headache!! For the next one, I could use a little help on it so bare with me and it might be something you hate, or love; I think it's awesome...especially with a certain "guest".
