Thanks everyone for your good wishes regarding my arm! I had the steroid injection on Monday and had some pain for about a day or so. She actually injected right into the main muscle that has been causing most of the problems. I have a nice big bruise there now. It seems to be feeling better now, but I won't really know until I go back to work how much it's working. It looks like I will be off work at least until August 19 but I'll know more when I see the doctor again next week.
So, with all the free time, I have been watching a lot of new TV shows (well, at least for me). I am feeling like I miss Buffy and Angel, so I will be starting a rewatch of those as well, especially since I've been able to convice a few of my Supernatural friends to start watching!
Nip/Tuck S2-4
I finished S2, S3 and started watching S4.
Looks like we cannot use spoiler tags, so don't look if you don't want to know. There are big spoilers for Nip/Tuck here.
S2 was great. I can't decide if S3 was better or not. I correctly predicted that Christian was never going to really get married, , and I also strongly suspected the Carver had taken Kimber, since she really seemed to want to get married. In the end, I was partially correct about the Carver. I did say it was Quentin, but I honestly had no idea about Kit being involved too. It certainly explains why she didn't give up his secret when they were in bed together at Christian's place earlier in the season.
There are just so many things going on in this series, that makes it so fun to watch. The arc with Matt and his interesting choices of sexual partners, from the transgendered Ava to pre-op Cherrty, to the Aryan Ariel and her psycho dad. Julia finally spilling the beans about Christian being Matt's bio-dad, Chrisitan sleeping with Julia's mom. Sean getting off with the Miss Kimber doll....and the list of course goes on and on....
S4 is starting out very strangely. I think they are going a bit overboard with the special guest stars....
Gilmore Girls S1-7
While I have been home I watched all 7 seasons of Gilmore Girls in about 3 weeks. I did not think it was possible, but I did it. My head is still spinning. I actually liked the show a lot and appreciate the humor. I am quite a bit like Lorelai in the kind of things she says and not always knowing when to just be quiet. Rory definitely got on my nerves about half the time. For a smart girl she did a lot of dumb stuff. I am not sure if I love or hate Michel. He is so damn annoying but he says the most ridculous things. I guess his entertainment value outweighs the annoyance factor. I won't even start on the Luke/Lorelai/Christopher thing. Overall I am glad I watched the show and now I sort of wish it wasn't over. I have to stop watching stuff after it's been cancelled. I did the same thing with Veronica Mars. At some point I might mention some of my favorite episodes. Right now, it's all just a very funny blur.
Dark Angel S2
I admit to this guilty pleasure of only watching this for Jensen Ackles who plays Alec. I'd seen parts of S1 on TV but never really followed the show. I have seen about half of S2 and I'd probably say I'm not a big fan, but some of the storylines are good, if a bit farfetched. So far, my favorite episode was "The Berrisford Agenda" which focuses on Alec. No surprises there for anyone right?
Smallville S4-5
Yes, it's a testament to how much time I have on my hands when I start watching Smallville. I admit I only watched S4 for Jensen Ackles at the suggestion of Kimmy and Engel, but I was enjoying the storyline with Jason andhis mother looking for the stones, but they really leave too many things unexplained or hard to follow. I'm not complaining about things that are hard to believe, like when they all went to China for a day. I am used to things like that, and they did have a good reason for going. I know Angel forum people warned me about this show, but I let myself get sucked in anyway. How on earth did Jason go from being mad at his mother about setting him up with Lana, hiding the stone from her, to a few episodes later he kills someone? This needs some explanation! I actually started watching S5 just because James Marsters is in it. I know I will have lots of questions about things so I'm not letting myself get too involved in the storyline. I have to admit I find it amazing how often they can come up with excuses for Tom Welling to take his shirt off. A friend suggested it's made of krypto-fibers and he's actually allergic to them so he needs to take them off regularly.
And a Treat

I am a Smallville fan. I think seasons 4 and 5 were the best seasons of that show.
Oh, I'll be back for more cookies. Make sure Ms. Alba is waiting for me too.
I still think Tom is just allergic to his shirts, thats why he has to keep taking them off!!
I can't make up my mind what to watch now!!
I hate when shots give you a bruise, I hope its helping though so your arm gets better.
i agree about jensen in smallville, they really didn't do as much with his character as they could have. they almost ignored him for most of the second half of the season, and when they didn't he did stuff that didn't make sense....
I didn't feel that bad about the GG cancellation, it ended at the right time IMO, it's kinda like Buffy in that way, it was great while it lasted and it stopped before lasting too long (well, off course, Buffy could've gone on forever and not bored me, but still
I want to rewatch Dark Angel too, but so far I have yet to obtain the dvd's
I liked both s4 and 5 of Smallville, it was those seasons I first downloaded and I loved them couldn't get enough of the show after them whereas I never really got that much into it during the first seasons
and what a treat, I can't decide which is yummiest
i don't think anything can make me watch the OC. but i am up for doing buffy again
Ohh that picture of Jensen is great..and grabs one of those cookies
All delicious treats
I actually really liked Dark Angel, though that may have had something to do with Alba
I still watch smallville though quickly tire of its crappy storylines...le sigh.
Nip/tuck is so damn good. i dunno if you have or not, but if you like that then check out Dexter!
I need more hours in the day.
I've been hooked on N/T since the pilot episode. I wouldn't mind any suggestion made in S5 that S4 was a dream sequence.
A wacky, kooky dream sequence.
* scene opens with Christian and Sean having a threeway with Suzanne Pleschette *
That'll do.
*wishes i was Jessica Alba's balnket*

My you have been watching a lot of tv lately.
I love Nip/Tuck but I think you might be right about them going overboard with celeb guest stars.
I liked Jensen in Dark Angel, I didn't care for him at all in Smallville.
Thanks for the cookies, I left some for the others.
