You see, melonhead37, another friend, and I have an assignment in Enlish class. We are memorizing our prepositions and Mrs. Weber, the English teacher, said we had to take a song that we knew and rewrite it with all 49 of our prepositions on the list. We chose to do Mama, I'm a big girl now, and renamed it, Mama, I'm a Dumb kid now because in the song we didn't know our prepositions. Anyways, we went in to see if dumb was okay to use, and she said no because the principal would be watching us perform them at 'preposition idol'. we asked if it was okay since we were saying we were dumb before we knew our prepositions, and she still said no. but she said we could look in the lovely thesaurus on her bookshelf...so we did. The only short synonym for dumb was stupid, and since we couldn't use that, we had to look up stupid. There was a big list of synonyms, but we were utterly dismayed to find that 'laughable' was one of them. you see, we are extremely laughable, and if that means that we're stupid...then...then...then...HOW RUDE!!!
