It's getting closer to my birthday and I was hoping to get The Beatles: Rock Band and I check the price. It's $60 on the Wii and this is just stupid. Activision did the same move with Modern Warfare 2 on the PC and Guitar Hero 5 on the Wii. This is getting ridiculous. You should not be able to pay over $50 on a peripheral-less game whatsoever and EA and Activision should be ashamed of themselves for even having this idea. One of the points of the Wii is to be affordable and they should not forget that. Thanks alot EA. Way to make the economy grow by selling a 40 song game for 60 dollars. And great news my GH guitar has some manufacturing issues on it. Now I get to listen to customer service telling me repeatedly to check if the Wii Mote is connected to the guitar even though I'm repeating that that's not the issue I'm having! Great!

Hey, for years the Wii has demanded to be treated better than second rate to the PS3 and X360... well, I guess price matching for the games seems like one of the requirements.

But yeah, I wouldn't buy it at $60 either...

But dude, ITS THE BEATLES!!!!

@raahsnavj True. Nintendo wanted people to take the console as an equal to the PS3/360, and they did in many ways, including higher prices.

@katamari I know! I love The Beatles a lot! Well I may buy it in a few months when prices lower. And it was one of my most anticipated games of the year!

I agree. Though they are quality games, $60 is way too much. It also seems that Activision is getting comfortable with overpricing. COD: MW 2 is going to be $60 on the PC, while MW is still $40. In the past I refused to buy games for $50, instead waited for price drops, which worked until I bought a Wii. Whatever happened on buying games on a budget?

And yeah, I'm happy Little Mac won!

I guess that's Activision's fault
