I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday. Mine was thankfully quiet. I stayed home, and my hubby and the kids brought me leftovers. My Mr. cooks for a living, so everything was guaranteed to be delicious. Even the cat was happy: she got a little dark meat. I'm thankful for a happy cat. And for being a grownup so that I can stay at home on Thanksgiving if I want. (I'm saving it up for Christmas!) And for the fact that it's snowing a little outside my window right now. Which makes me thankful that I don't have to go anywhere until Monday - love the snow, hate the cold. It all works out.
On another note, I finally found time to watch the replay of last week's On The Spot. Oh hot Brian Ekberg, why oh why are you wearing a porkpie hat? It's not 1987, and you are not in a Molly Ringwald movie. Or was that an ill-conceived salute to Rocky? Either way, it was bad. It hurt my heart, as well as my retinas. Are you planning to trot out a white Hugo Boss jacket and pink tee next week? Egad, I hope not! Cute men wearing not cute things makes me weep inside. You're still cute; just don't do that again, okay?
Now, I'm going back to bed. Because I can. ![]()
