Recently I just had a chance to see one of my best friends from 10 years ago. There were three of us back then and we were inseperable. Through the internet, (classmates.com and myspace.com) we were able to reconnect with each other and starting hanging out again. We have picked up right where we left off so long ago. Our third friend has since moved to California and we don't get to talk to her often. But Beth and I are able to meet about once a week and grab a drink or two together. It has been so much fun! And to top it all off - she is an ER fan, which makes it so much sweeter!!

I actually have a few minutes and I wanted to post a blog to check in with everyone and let you know what's been going on with me.
Work has been crazy! Everyone is getting their tax refund checks and they are spending them on cars. Love it!
But....last week....I got to repo our first car!! It was such a rush. Even though this one was probably the easiest ever, it was still exciting!
Want me to explain? Great. Here goes...
Our customer, (who happens to work for the local police department...) had fallen about 5 payments behind on his truck payment (our customers pay their car payments weekly). His wife had called and said that she would be in on a certain date to catch the account current. That day came and went, and still no word from these people. I tried to call them, no response. We finally decided that enough was enough. Last week we noticed that the truck was in for service at the shop down the street from us. We decided this would be the perfect chance to grab it! After talking it over with Caleb (he was bummed that he couldn't be here for it), we decided that last Wednesday would be a perfect chance. I walked down the street to the mechanic's shop, and asked the people that work there why the black Nissan truck was in for service. After they explained why, one man cocked his head sideways, furrowed his brow, and said: "Whyyyy??" To which I replied, "because I'm here to repo it." This caused a huge commotion! These three men immediately dropped open their mouths in shock and started saying: "Oh my gosh, he's a cop and he's getting his truck repo'd, BY A GIRL!" I didn't dare let on that this was my first time to ever repo a vehicle.....I just got the truck cranked and drove away.
It was such a rush!!! Yes, I do feel a tad sad for the people, but we have an investment to protect also.
Anyway, this concludes my blog. Hope I didn't bore you too much. Stealin' for a livin'--Woohoooo!!!!

Before I went back to work, my brother and I made it a point to have lunch together once a week. Now, since I work so far away, it's alot harder to get together. Last week, he came up to see me at work and we went to lunch and spent the afternoon together. It is always a delight to spend time together and just hang out. Whenever we are together, he always has a new song for me on his iPod to listen to. Last week, his pick was a new song by Ben Folds, previously of Ben Folds Five. The name of the song is: Gracie. Every once in a while, a song comes along that touches your soul. For me, this is that song. It is an amazing song and it brought tears to my eyes. Should I mention that it also brought tears to my brother's eyes also? Probably not. Might hurt his macho guy ego!
I wanted to share the lyrics with anyone who is interested.
Gracie Lyrics
You can't fool me, I saw you when you came out
You got your momma's taste but you got my mouth
And you will always have a part of me
Nobody else is ever going to see
Gracie girl
With your cards to your chest walking on your toes
What you got in the box only Gracie knows
And I would never try to make you be
Anything you didn't really want to be
Gracie girl
Life flies by in seconds
You're not a baby Gracie, you're my friend
You'll be a lady soon but until then
You gotta do what I say
You nodded off in my arms watching TV
I won't move you an inch even though my arm's asleep
One day you're gonna want to go
I hope we taught you everything you need to know
Gracie girl
And there will always be a part of me
Nobody else is ever gonna see but you and me
My little girl
My Gracie girl

Some people just don't have opinions. Like ecfrazier22.
ecfrazier22 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could ecfrazier22 possibly have for not rating a single film?
