My Secret Agent Clank review is posted!

Some channel (I'm not sure which) has Lois & Clark as one of their syndicated shows. I had only ever seen 1 or 2 episodes when it was new. My wife turned turned to it when she saw it was on, as she used to watch it. We didn't get through 10 mins. That show is TERRIBLE! Cheap sets, bad acting, and a cliche script.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - I've started playing it; just enough to get a taste. Usually I can say I'm on mission/stage X of Y, but this one is harder to do that with, as I can only find a list of levels for the current gen systems, and I'm not sure if the PS2 version has any stages cut out. If it doesn't, then I'm on mission 3 of 38, if I take the road of the rebels, which I probably will.
First impressions is that it's alright. There seems to be a good mix of heroes, and it doesn't take long before the selection opens up from the opening 4. Blade is in there, which I thought was cool. But he's a white guy. I didn't know of Blade until the movies, so Snipes will always be the face of Blade for me.
The control scheme is a little funny though. Triangle for jump, Square for grab, and X & O for attack; it feels a little backwards, but it's doable.
Some people have been complaining about the graphics. Yeah, their not the best the PS2 has to offer, but I cant' complain. They're not bad, and I was just happy they made a version for the PS2. I mean, how much polish should we really expect developers to put in to a game for a 6th generation system that's been living in a 7th gen world for, what... 4 years? Realistically, at this stage for new titles in the PS2's life, I'm not hoping for much more then some old fashion entertainment that's functional. A long time ago, I said I could thank the Wii for part of the PS2's continuing success (I can't find the post, but it was basically saying how many cross-platform games that end up on the Wii also seems to end up on the PS2). But I'm getting off topic now.
The action seems there, and that's where the fun will be for me. The voice acting is also pretty good, for a comic-book-super-hero game. It has that Saturday morning feel to it, you know?
I suspect I'll have fun with this title as I progress. I'll try to get around to grabbing some video.

In my last post I put up a video showing how I connected my PS2 to a C64 monitor.

The Marvel Ultimate Alliance series has intrigued me but I've never given it a go. I might go back and play the first if I can get a friend to play it with me.
I remember watching Lois and Clark way back when it first came out, but I had no idea it was THAT bad. Now I feel like watching it just to experience the badness for a few minutes.

I may try one of the games in this series down the road, but xmen legends disappointed me a lot, so I am hesitant to try a similar game to it. It is by the same developers I am pretty sure.

Your Secret Agent Clank review pretty much sums up the game similarly to most reviews I have read about it.

Weird that you bring up "Lois and Clark" because I was just talking about it today. Anyways, Solid review of Secret Agent Clank. I still need to pick that one up, along with Size Matters.

What? The X button always has to be for jumping. Or acceleration.

I used to have the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance and it was ok... it was fun for a at first but then it got old to me after a while. I might rent part 2 and see what's new

Triangle for jump, eh? That's how it was in Medal of Honor: Frontline when I was playing it earlier today to get my thoughts for my blog post.
The face buttons do seem that they were flipped horizontally and then vertically from God of War.

@SGTiD1NG0 & @ikhzo & @M0wen10 & @vj02 & @Private_Adam & @bugbag & @Urworstnhtmare - Thanks for the positive comments everyone!
@tennis12master - Thanks! I have the first one as well, but I actually haven't played it. I have played X-Men Legends though, and I had a lot of fun with that one.
@syler4815162342 - Yeah, my early impressions, although I'm having fun with it, I suspect it will be a 7 as well.
@thrubeingcool13 - Yeah, I'm hoping to start and beat Size Matters before the end of the year as well.
