I just got this PM:
So that's pretty cool. I've never actually seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I wonder if I will like it. Mostly I wonder if they will actually send it to me. I like winning stuff, it makes me feel special.

Congrats, EatCacti--I won an Angel DVD! I'm glad because I own all of the Buffy ones and no Angels. Buffy is a terrific show. The writing is smart and funny with lots of drama and plot twists. The heroine is strong, yet human. A good role model for women. Some people who don't like vampire and monster shows prefer to think of those as metaphors for evil! Hopefully they'll give you season 1 so you understand what is going on and who the characters are.

Congrats eatcacti. The only thing I've ever won was a cassette player/radio at a baseball game seven years ago. The announcers called out ticket numbers and out of 3,000 people I won. I had to choose between the cassete player/radio and a dozen golf balls. It was kind of an easy choice .

It's from Arrested Development. The translation they give on the show is "You dance like a homosexual", but it looks to me like "You dance like a man who lives like a woman", which could be a transvestite, I guess.

Yeah, that "lives like a women" part is what's unclear to me, too. I've got to ask my Latino friends! I'm not too familiar with Spanish slang. I have a sneaking suspicion that some comedies throw in rapid-fire meaningless Spanish phrases, just because it's humorous (it's all Ricky Ricardo's fault!).
