As we all know, Katara has quite the entourage of others... Haru, Jet, but especially...
Aang and Zuko. And we all know about the OH-SO-GREAT war between the Kataangs and Zutarians.
I myself ship Zutara. However, a big difference between me and freakin' millions of OTHER shippers (be they for Kataang, Jetara, whatever) is that I like my shipping, but just because I want it to happen doesn't mean I say "Kataang has no chance", such as vadimguard said 'zutara has no chance...' When e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e is doing that! It's called -gasp- HUMAN FRICKEN NATURE! State whatever FACTS you will against a couple, but don't apply crap like 'fantasies, lying, etc.' to only ONE shipping because, believe it or not, your being just a freakin' hypocrite when you argue that YOUR shipping is absolutely right cause 'there's fluff!! Signs! Moments!" WHAT-FREAKIN'-EVER!
1) Don't ignore other couple moments. I notice them, you should too.
2) The 'moments' you say are just to keep you watching. A marketing technique. Why do you think ALTA is so addictive?
3) Realize, ATLA is a television show aimed at 7-11 year olds.
As for who Katara ends up with... I've been a Zutarian from the beginning.
However, I will be realistic........
Judging from the fact that Avatar is a kid's show and that they make things a tad cheesy--
ex: Azula's confession to being jealous in 'The Beach'.
Azula? Confess for real? Ha. Ha. HA. Be SERIOUS. They only did that because younger kids couldn't follow unless she full out admitted it. And it being pretty late where I am, I will not bother to search for more examples.... but they are there... just look...
Anyway... My main point is, regarding how they tend to stay obvious to keep the kiddies from getting confused....
Kataang is the more likely pairing, soley on the fact that it's a kid's show and not the teenage show it should be with it's potential.
However....
The blood bending surprised me. So, on the fact that they don't have to be as kiddish as they did before.....
Zutara does have a chance, especially with Zuko joining the avatar's side (as of episode 11).
So... Mike and Brian being the little evil geniuses they are...
Will continue to torture us with moments for near every shipping there is until the end!
So, let us kick back and enjoy the show and STOP BEING HYPOCRITES.
