I know how that feels. First time my messed up it was the drive too.

I'm wondering how so many of you are having all these failed consoles. I've had mine since September of 06' and I have yet to face any serious problems. I've only had one game freeze, I took the disc back and got another and my problem was solved, who knows I might be the lucky one to have such a long lasting console.

Love the sarcasm. Last night my 360 flashed some red lights - not sure how many, then turned itself off. Luckily it rebooted ok ...fingers crossed it stays that way

You should get a PS3 !! Almost a year and still works OK !!! Besides theres MGS4 coming!

Good thing you have a warranty, if that was me I would have been screwed cause I never get them. I just like the one year that comes standard with products.

I hated it when mine did it, because the electricians destroyed by surging killing it. It apparently couldnt be covered by warranty because I never had a plan... good luck on getting a new one.

Currently i have a X-box 360 that i got late September last year and hasn't had any problems however if i this one fails and i get a replacement that fails i'd probably get a PS3.
