EA is the largest third-party video game developer and producer, and with that why not try to monopolize? Take NFL first for five years knocking all competition out of the water. Now we only have one choice for football for the next five years: EA. But when SEGA was knocking on the door, it looks like to me that this is a cowardly move. EA seemed to be scared of competition, and with exclusive rights deal I cannot experience the ability to have a choice. With no competition, can we expect games to be improving on a sub-par level? With competition EA might be forced to look at their development harder and be forced to create a football package that can compete.

Don't take me wrong, I still prefer sony over nintendo and microsoft, but they are negligent dumba55es. They sent me for the holidays a playable demo so I thought I would pop it into my ps2 and see what it had to offer. After testing all the games I went to go play online on SOCOM II but I couldn't because apparently my memory card was not formatted. I though I was goin to shoot myself. I wondered why after so long my memory card had to be wiped clean. On the memory card I had completed over 50 hours of Kindom Hearts and was at the final stage. Its the same story for Final Fantasy X where I was at the final stage with more than 60 hours put in. Even more devastating was my loss of my Suikoden III file which had 99 hours on it, and it still wasn't complete (well actually i had finished one of the main characters story and I still had to do the other two). Damn Sony because I'm not goin to do all that hard sh*t and training and hours that I had before.

Damn Socom. Its addiciting. I used to play Socom for hours and love it. There just the right amount of people playin the game to make it feel like a community, where I knew almost anybody. But since Socom is losing all their online button pushers, I turned to Socom II and its just too different. There are too many people that playin a game makes you fell insignificant. I can enter a room in Socom and someone will recognize me. In Socom II your just another player.
