I realise that while i write this pseudo-review i can attract some negative attention as the thing that i am gonna write about does not exist in any form or shape in any known realm of reality. My story begins about one year back, when i got my "firm" new pc and started looking for games which would satisfy my rapidly growing eye-candy need and would interest me as something more. With not much but hundred pieces of forever-green and few buttons i realised my chose was poor : it's bargain bin, witch would satisfy only one of my criteria at best, or eBay.So here i was - looking at 3 games bargain for $40.You ask didn't i get suspicious? Maybe. But i live on my own and needed those extra bucks so at the time i didn't even bother on thinking or re-thinking was that some kind of dirty business or not.So here - i got THUG1 and two other sweet delicious games witch i sunk into real fast. Tony Hawk's first attempt in "underground scene" however get lost in all those other incoming games i got later. However recently i really missed him due hold back of Wasteland and thought it would be great to play it at last. You ask what's so unreal about THUG1 ? Well maybe the fact that it wasn't actually released for PC , tho it was announced and made.

Anyhow.I really don't understand why it wasn't released after all. The piracy/warez thing isn't that un-common for our days (remember "don't copy that floppy" ?) that totaly made and prepared for release game would be canceled in fear that people will be able to get it for free. I mean EVERY freakin' game ever released is or was on internet for free, and it's not like they achieved something after all: i have a pretty real cd's with it and i have no doubt that there is some other people around that could have it too.

And the fact that this game is actually the peak of all Tony Hawk's franchise games makes the fact even more stupid. While graphics aren't bad they don't show anything more then needed and sound/music is as always good and filled with variety of tracks from different genres, what it really makes you tick is story. It is decent and has real characters and connected events/maps more then Bam-Ified THUG2. Story starts with young lad witch you can make just like you. Through the body of your digital copy you will try to stand up in the world of skating: impress the stars, do sick combos for videos , get sponsored, make your own trick and deserve to make a deck. While you "walk your path" you get into quarrel with what seemed to be your best friend yesterday, and rival today. Defeating him slowly becomes a main objective of the game.

So,by any means THUG1>THUG2 and i'm really sorry for everyone who can't enjoy it only because doubts of success or fear of piracy. It really would be a good sell for them...

Some people just don't have opinions. Like dsd02_.
dsd02_ must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could dsd02_ possibly have for not rating a single film?
