Everyone's favourite detective. Finally a strong female lead, who is renowed for her subtlety, but yet can deliver power house performances.

She has the ability to become the character and involve the audience to actually believe her performance and react of her actions. Quite a feat for a television actor, and a very deserving nominee and winner of multiple critically aclaimed awards.

She is the one actor, who is the relation of a famous Hollywood actress, who has not milked her family connections. She has earned her position through talent.

Mariska is destined to be even bigger than she already is, she has the chameleon ability to potray any character.

With a history of viewer challenged shows, that eventuated in cancellation, Sasha has broken the mould of other actresses and shone through with her performance on the CBS drama NCIS.

With a history of viewer challenged shows, that eventuated in cancellation, Sasha has broken the mould of other actresses and shone through with her performance on the CBS drama NCIS.

She shone in her role as Special Agent Kate Todd, filling the part brilliantly, making her one of the most believable actors on series television actors.

However, the lack of promotion of NCIS, stunted her growth in the industry, but know that her demise from the show has become so well publiscised and her upcoming role in the big budget action flick, Mission Impossible:3, I am sure her star will rise.

Geoffry Rush is one of Australia's greatest actors. In my opinion more talented than our other exports such as Nicole Kidman and Russel Crowe. And at least in his case is actually Australian...born and raised unlike many other's who have been adopted by Australia. Also Australian films are not below him, and he is a regular participant in other Australian theatre productions.

This man desverse all the credit and international recognition for his outstanding performance in the Australian film based Swimming Upstream...for which he won an AFI, the highest recognition in Australian film.

This man deserves not only a fourth Oscar nomination but a second win. And I am certain in the short future he will.
