First ever blog, but a good place to start!

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've done anything on this site -- I've been on it lots be never really got back into doing reviews and getting involved. So why the change you may ask? House.

Over the past year or so I've kept up on most of my shows and discovered some new ones (Big Bang Theory, True Blood) but nothing has really stood out too much for me to feel motivated to come back on here and do a review and update my blog haha. Nothin has stood out until today - we see the return of house, which you can find my review of here:

http://www.tv.com/house/broken/episode/1292881/reviews.html?tag=ep_guide;reviews

So, as it mentions I like to see a sad story but mixed well with happiness and the premiere today had me laughing out loud then gut wrenched when they wheeled in Freedom Man after his accident. I'll be honest I was getting a little bored of the day to day house with nothing special happening except a new guest patient so when episode likes this and the Finale House's Head/Willson's Heart come it makes me wish that the writing staff could pump out this stuff more often. Now I realise that finales and premiere have extra thought put into them and extra concideration but still, I can wish can't I? haha.

Basically what I'm getting at is welcome back September! It's been too long, and if anyone ends up reading this - Thanks for stopping by.

So the premiere of Flashpoint was last friday and I didn't know too much about it until I saw the ads here on the rotating news thing on the front page so I decided to check it out. After only watching a little bit off it I realised the show is Canadian based (Toronto based to be exact, where I live) which I thought was really cool because I've seen so many shows based around new york, baltimore, boston but nothing even in Canada and this one's in my home city. Anyways, the show itself was interesting. They had a pretty good set up of characters and a decent plot for the pilot with the crazy croatian with a gun but overall I think the show could be better. With that being said I'm definitely tuning for the next 4-5 episodes and hopefully it keeps up with this pilot or better. It was also cool to see Veronica Mars' Dad Enrico as one of the main characters. I give it 7/10.

In other news I got some a new Banner up and a new blog logo hope everyone likes!

Ok Ok, I'm not one to download stuff but the premiere of Fringe showed up a while back on the net and a friend got it for me. After watching it I'm sitting on the fence. It had a good setup with the whole diseased plane but after that the plot seemed to just jump ahead too much, the interesting concept of a uncontrollable and unknown disease was explored a bit but not enough imo. They introduced a ton of characters for only 80 or minutes or so and the concepts they showed were interesting but right now I just don't know. I'll give it a few more episodes but I'll be honest it's not looking promising. Bonus points for shooting the pilot in Toronto where I live though

The Bourne Identity
Definitely one of my favorite movie series of all time. Identity set the mood for the whole series and did a great job at it. When you sit down and watch the Bourne Identity it's like watching a superhero movie except the story and action is...

Batman Begins
I'll be honest - I'm not much of a Batman fan, infact the whole "batman" idea to me was stupid. But after seeing this movie it eat my words because it totally impressed me. The story is great and Christian Bale always delivers!...

The Nines
I agree with kohllapse, this movie wanted to be more than it was, unfortunately it fell short. The movie basically has a crash feel to it but with the same characters in the different scenarios. I took me a while to figure out what was going on...

Sunshine
I'll be honest, when I read the synopsis of this movie and it's theme of "re-igniting the sun for survival" I was pretty skeptical thinking a great it's another Armageddon or something similar. So I watched the trailer, and it made me...
