It's been awhile. My last blog update was 6 months ago. A lot has happened, indeed so much has changed. Gaming, however, appears to have progressed along as usual. I've given away or sold most of my games. In fact, my Xbox360 overheated and fried itself. I did get a new Elite though... and that's about where I am at. I have an Xbox360 Elite with 5 360 games (Forza II, Gears of War, Gears of War 2, NASCAR 09 and Tales of Vesperia) and 1 xbox game (Genma Onimusha) - that's it. I recently picked up Tales of Vesperia and I have been quite impressed. There's not a whole lot to look forward to but there are couple of really interesting games coming around the corner soon, namely Forza III and Final Fantasy XIII. Take a look at the FFXIII trailer below. I stopped playing FF games back at FFX, but I figure why not give this new one a chance, seems like there's a good bit of effort going into it.

On the Forza III side, I hope they make some improvements beyond updating the roster of cars and tracks. It would be nice to see some weather variables such as rain, sun, and cloud cover. It would also be nice to see some temperature variations so that hotter temperatures create slicker surfaces, etc. We'll see!

Happy 4th of July!

A short reminiscence of 2008 as I head into the uncertainty of 09. Though I haven't kept up with the latest gaming news enough to know what has received top honors for game of the year, I would like to share my personal pick for game of the year. And it is...

Few games have amazed me with such a simple interface, yet rewarding gameplay, as World of Goo. I would also like to point out that The Dark Knight was my personal favorite movie of the year as well! This is my final blog update for GS (I will still be a semi-active member) and I would like to wish everyone at Gamespot a great 2009 and beyond!

Well, the answer to that question is no - you haven't seen this before - well, technically, you haven't seen this before. However, you have seen various elements within this work in the world around you. I created this piece for a comic exihibit that was accepting entries last week. It was fun to get creative and let my mind, and pen, run free. The title of the work is, in fact, "You've seen this before..." I drew some inspiration from the WiiWare title World of Goo. That was such an incredible puzzle game, both mechanically and artisticly speaking. While my work may not be the greatest work ever created, overall I am very happy with the results. Here's hoping it gets accepted and put on display in March. Wish me luck!

Some people just don't have opinions. Like dreamdust.
dreamdust must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could dreamdust possibly have for not rating a single film?
