I have been around TV.com for over a week now when it dawned on me that you probably don't know a thing about me. Well, let me try and fill you in....
My name is draskers, I'm 26, male and I live in a beautiful historic town just on the outskirts of Birmingham, UK. I work full time as a Sales and Marketing Executive, which is a job that I love.
In my spare time I relax by listening to rock music and reading, my prefered type of book is either a biography or a good thriller. I also dabble at playing guitar, and have also just started to play golf - a sport that I seem to have a natural talent for being bad at!!! My favorite type of sport is motor racing, the pinicle being F1. I have been to several races across Europe, and my ambition is to someday come across to America to visit Indianapolis Speedway and Laguna Seca.
My absolute passion in life is my DVD collection. At the moment I have over 350, most of them TV series, which is how I discovered this site. When looking for a good series to watch I always read the reviews here before purchasing my next box set. I prefere TV series as an alternate to films, as the character depth, story lines and twisting plots are always fullfilled and more dynamic. If there was only one TV show in the world, my choice would most certainly be for Buffy as no other show combines so many great themes - action, suspence, horror, comedy and emotion. It is also one of the best writen shows on TV due to the great range of characters, involving story lines and totaly original content. It really is a master piece.
Well, there you go, that's me... not much I know, but I'm happy with it! If you see me around the forums, please say Hi.
Ohh yer... I forgot to say thanks for dropping by!!!

It's nice to learn a little about you Draskars.
BTVS is one of my favorite shows as is Angel and Firefly. Actually, Firefly is my favorite show. It's the best show ever created. Joss outdid himself with this one. I hope the Serenity will be successful enough so he can bring this show back to TV.
If you haven't watched it, I recommend it. Sadly, there are only 14 episodes, but they are well worth your time.

Racing sounds scary! I'm a little whimp!

Stock car racing seems to be popular here in the Southern U.S. It is the redneck sport of choice.
Wow, you have a lot of DVD's. Are most of those for newer series or something else?
