First computer experience: C64 | First console experience: NES | Preferred gaming platforms: PC, Amiga, C64, NES, SNES, Mega Drive/Genesis, Saturn and Turbografx-16/PC-Engine, cardboard/wood. | Preferred types of games: STRATEGY (TBS, 4x, classic & modern strategy boardgames - not wargames or other games designed primarily in a wargame fashion, or so called "RTS games", with few exceptions), ADVENTURE (text parser-based, and point 'n' click (before they got completely dumbed down to the triple command formula - look, get and use), ACTION-ADVENTURE (platform games, 2D or 3D, and survival horror (with puzzle solving being preferred over action), some games commonly referred to as "puzzle games", even though they aren't - no Tetris/Columns clones, thank you -, sports games (basketball, ice hockey and soccer I like), and the occasional action-oriented game (shooters - perspective doesn't matter; horizontal, vertical or first person, and some select few fighters and beat 'em ups). | OS: Debian GNU/Linux and Windows XP. | (I deleted my blog because I rarely wrote anything in it, and because I have no use for it, if anyone's wondering.)
