so i'm watching episode 2x26 of grey's anatomy right now. again. last night, i watched the last three episodes of the season in a row. in all honesty, i'm not the most emotional person. in fact, not even close. but these three episodes broke my heart. i really love grey's, i think it's cleverly written, and an extremely valid dramaromcom. the acting in this show is phenomenal. i really don't think that there has been any other show ever that has so truly touched my heart. sure...the occassional one tree hill makes me tear, last season's finale of boston legal genuinely made me cry...but time and time again grey's just gets to me. maybe because the characters are relatable. and flawed. they're not too perfect. they don't dress like rockstars everyday of their lives. the cast is diverse, and the narration at the beginning and ending of each episode somehow just...works. i'm sad to see this show take a hiatus, because for the last 10 months, i've been following the show. maybe i need to get a life. idk. but i feel like i'm at a point in my life where i need something to distract me, and that i can actually feel cathartic about. i'm graduating from highschool in a month, and i'm sad beyond belief; but all the emotion that i have i've been keeping in. watching shows like greys let me cry. and sometimes...thats all that i need.
so we can't swear anywhere on tv.com. this is new for me; i'm not used to this sort of censorship. i understand; in fact, since this resource is available to virtually everyone, it makes a lot of sense. and yet i find myself littering forum posts with wtfs and other unsavory exclamations, only to find that my comment was rejected, or edited, or somehow just disappeared into thin air. most people on here probably don't care; not being able to use swears makes you use other words to describe a characters actions or emotions...or your own. maybe the "no swearing rule" is a blessing in disguise.

Out of curiousity, has anyone been following csi or any of the spin-off series this season? csi to me has somehow lost its sparkle...perhaps it's just been running too long? i still enjoy it as an occasional tune in, and if it's already on i won't change the channel, but i'm no longer tuning in weekly. have any other csi viewers been slightly...for lack of a better word...jaded? it's not the best/right description perse, but it's the first that came to mind...

So I just got back from seeing Prime. For the second time. The first time I saw it, I was on a plane. Usuallly, when one is flying, they can't fully appreciate a movie for all that it is on the little 5 inch dirty screens. So, on a whim, I...

I only know Justin Chambers in the context of Grey's Anatomy. Karev; the hard, cold, cruel intern that everybody loves to hate. The man who broke Izzie's heart and gave a nurse and O'Malley syphillis. But there's another side to Karev. Justin...

The great thing about Chandra Wilson, especially as the role of Dr. Bailey that she plays in Grey's Anatomy, is that she's an extremely convincing and engaging actress. I love her character because she is the Nazi. She is classified as a...

dots869 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could dots869 possibly have for not rating a single film?
