Well, today went rather smoothly. I got more than enough money to buy what i wanted. But I got kinda PO'd this morning. here's why:

I have this classmate who's tradition/part of his culture is to not shave off beards for some time (im not really sure). Well, he had about an inch of hair when a teacher told him to shave it as it's against school rules. He had his parents write a letter to the higher authorities (principal), but he didn't allow it. So imagine faced with decision of either continous F's in conduct for not following the rules, changing your school, or shaving it. Well, he shaved it. But his family is pretty dissapointed as it's part of their culture. Let's put it this way, what if they moved the 4th of July for whatever reason? Would you allow your culture and history to be marred by rules or whatever? I don't think so, then again, not much of us really care about our history (i'm like that). Well, I was pretty annoyed by the decision of the school to force him to shave of his small beard just because of the rule which doesn't allow it.

Other than that, my day went great

so its part of his religion? if so i would be sueing that school so fast!! they cannot do that, if it was part of his religion (if it is) to pray at 2pm which just happens to be in the middle of math it's tough luck he is allowed to do it....
