My wife and I became the proud Grandparents of identical twin boys, on Feb 24, 2009. We are first time Grandparents. Our daughter & son-in-law did very well. Livingston was born at 11:33am, weighting 5 3/4 lbs & 18" long. William was born at 11:43am, weighting 5 1/4 lbs & 17" long. A week later, both boys are doing very well. We are staying, with the new parents, to help them get organized and work out a routine. Starting to get more then a couple hours of sleep, given the feedings are every two to three hours, by doing shifts. They are beautiful babies and we are so very happy.:lol:

Interesting Christmas this year. My daughter is pregnant with identical twin boys. The due date is expected to be Feb 25 2009. She lives, with her fiance, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is a Chef, now on maternity leave. My son works for Energizer Canada, in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada. Everyone was home for Christmas. The house was full with sound of voices and laughter. My wife and I love Christmas. We decorate the house, outside with lights, and inside, put up a tree, with lights and all the trimmings. We enjoy seeing the surprises and smiles on the kids faces with gifts we buy. Christmas dinner was Turkey with Stuffing, Whipped Potatoes, Hash Brown Casserole, Zesty Carrots, Turnip Puff & more. Everyone was stuffed. We had a young couple, with their six weeks old daughter, friends of my son, for Christmas dinner. Everyone has gone home so the house is very quiet.

To everyone, Smile and be Happy. Heavy snow fall arrived Thursday, Dec 18, with blowing winds. Temp was -10 C but -15 C with the wind chill. Used my new Snow-blower and what a difference. Lot easier on the back and arms. Was able to clear my driveway and sidewalks and the neighbour across the street as well. Friday morning, the Snow Plough filled in the end of the driveway. Would have taken forever to clear as well as the toll on the body. The Snow-blower worked great. Also able to clear the end of the neighbour's driveway next door and cross the street. Looking forward to Christmas with my family.
