So I get back from my trip to find all of my 20 submissions for this person rejected, but the day before I left I had the 20 exactly the same submissions accepted for a different person. So does every single staff person handling the queue coming with their own set of rules? Or is there just that one staff member that is out there to get me? I don't get it, wasn't it enough that my rejected subs have 200 submissions that were rejected unfairly?
And as if that wasn't worse, my plea for people to put off submitting resulted in over 60 subs waiting in my queue. Heh, I guess I'll do the other half tomorrow. I haven't even checked the cast forms, but I hope they have finally fixed the import section. Also, when does staff plan to delete the episodes we posted in the forum?

Wow, they're rejecting your stuff because of their screw-up? That's low. And yes, I know I shouldn't expect people not to submit for an entire week, but I was just a little mad previously. I always get like this when someone from the staff starts rejecting stuff for no apparent reason.

I've had the same problem with staff submissions. I've stopped making any subs to editorless guides. The last time I tried mine were rejected with "This dose not match the listing at IMDB. Please check your information and resubmit." The staff member did not even check my source. If they would have they would have seen that the listings at IMDB are wrong. Oh, well. Life goes on. I hope the tip went well.

It's long been the case that individual staff members have their own interpretation as to what does and does not constitute a valid submission, and what does and does not require a source. I keep trimming my sails whenever a new staff member comes on board, as a rejection always disappoints.
I've yet to be convinced that staff actually look at the sources we supply, but challenging a submission because IMDb/Wikipedia say something different seems off. Every editor of good standing knows that these websites rely on unmoderated submissions so cannot generally taken to be reliable sources in and of themselves.

Hi DM, Yup lump me in the same boat as the rest of us here. I have even had my own show that I edit for some reason went to them and they rejected it because I just put in add. As for the import it only works if you go to import recurring then submit and go out and import star then submit and guess what, "please combine as one submission" so damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Tell me, did you actually expect to get no subs simply because you asked people to hold off on them? That seems almost as unrealistic as expecting the staff to delete the episodes we posted in the forum....oh, wait....
