Wow. They are really trying to make this site as hard to use as possible, aren't they? The episode pages are so hard to navigate it's freaking me out. Why did they have to go ahead and do this? Didn't they receive feedback about how bad their show pages were?
It's almost as if they are trying to kick me out of this site.
And I'll leave. I'm on the edge. Years of service for nothing.
EVERYTHING that this site was about is now hidden. We come here for episode summaries, notes, trivia, quotes.... and now instead we have all of that hidden (even episode numbers, codes, airdates are all pushed aside). I do not want to click ten thousand times to get to the info I need.
And no, I am not overreacting.

It's as if it was in their plan to make it as tough as possible for us to use. Maybe they are trying to get us to quit or something. I might just go; this could go on for years.
They just all want to look like CBS.

They completely ignored it as usual, and then they threw the worst possible thing you could do to the episode guide short of losing all the data, without any feedback. Who wants to click five times to get to information that might or might not be there? Plus we lose our printable episode guide, making duplicate people consolidations extremely difficult. All for what? A large green submit bar?

Yeah, I don't like the new format either. The constant changes are annoying.

I agree with you Dmarex, it's absolutely horrid! There I was adding a note and all of a sudden it changed to the front page and missing info and bumping me all over the place. So I head back to where I was and the cast listing is gone, the trivia, notes and quotes that I just finished adding are gone only a summary is left on a useless page. I click to see the notes, I'm bumped to the front page, OMG! You're not overreacting and neither am I. After submitting years at tv.tome (since it's inception) and here I feel like they just keep making a worse mess out of things. Instead of having everything in full view when you look at an episode everything is mish-mash and awful.

When ever you think it can't come worse, tv.com pulls something out of the hat...

@ Angus_Mac - It's all about what they want. They could care less about, no matter how much they try to convince us they care.
@ AprilFox - I haven't cried in a long time, but remembering those beautiful days at TVTome and then skipping to where TV.com is now----it's just awful.
@ dju010 - The question is how many more of these changes will they do before half of us leave? I've been thinking about it million times and have been tempted but always stuck around hoping for the best. However, right now, busy with college and everything, why would I let myself be frustrated and sabotaged at TV.com? I'll give myself more time to think, but this might just be the end for me. I'm tired of this.

Hey, I like the new design...oh wait, no I don't.
This time they went even further to make it seem like they wanted our opinions by putting both version of the guides up for us to decide which to use and now they've changed it anyway.
Oh, and if anyone misses the submit button now when commenting they need their eyes testing, it's frickin' huge!
Actually, despite it being a massive button you still have to click right in the middle, how weird!

@ danbambridge - Yeah, the button is just as useless. But the worst thing of all... cast, crew, notes, trivia, allusions, quotes...... all a mile away.
Posted Mar 30, 2009 1:28 pm PT
It makes me want to add those things even less. I try to keep things to a minimum (I never add new trivia or quotes) and now that people won't even see the cast and crew I am less inclined to add those as well.

Yup, because of these unstoppable changes I have no willing to use this site, cause it's getting harder and harder to figure out how to use this site properly. Me neither, I don't like all these changes, I even can't remember when was the last time I really enjoyed this site.

You know, I can't understand why they simply could not have left the option open to us. As of yesterday, I was still able to either use this ugly new monstrosity we're all stuck with OR I could have remained with the "old" version. Why was that choice taken away? I don't get it. Would it have caused the staff too much distress to simply leave well enough alone? They've even put the names of the users who post on blogs after the comment rather than as a header.
And the damned spell check STILL doesn't work, nor can we put paragraph breaks by hitting "Enter"!!

It is very frustrating. It's an absolute nightmare when trying to remember how many episodes of a current show have been made (when your the editor trying to keep track of that show guide). They've screwed the PM system up a bit too.
It really is a case of trying to fix something that wasn't broken in the first place.
Plus with all these changes, they still cant fix that damn bug that occasionally causes subs that you make to your own shows from going in to your own mod queue

The PM system is a different bug altogether, it's thanks to Gamespot I think as JodyR posted that they're doing some maintenance on it.

Well I hope you cheer up for April Fools!

Thanks man, but I believe there's no help this time around.
