So I'm starting to rebuy all these games I've already owned for the PS2, because I sold everything I once owned when I bought my 360 thinkin, "Well I beat all of these and I probably wont go back to playing last gen."
Well I ended up selling off my oh so not trusty 360, and purchased a PS3. Now fast forward a year, here I sit wanting to play all those awesome games again, And I've gotta tell you I'm totally addicted now!
I rebought God of war 1 & 2 , Prince of Persia 1,2 & 3, Metal gear 1,2 & 3, Freekstyle, Tribes - Aerial assault. It just seems weird to me that I've already payed full price for these games once lol. So I'm helping the gaming industry times two !
Guess I'm just wondering if anybody else has done this so I dont feel so weird, and what games did you rebuy, and was it worth it to you. Also isn't it strange to look back at how not so pretty some of these games were, when only a couple years ago they were mind blowing?
I've been playing next gen so long that I quit realizing how good they really do look, but not all of the games suffer too bad, God of war, P.O.P., and the 3rd Metal gear still look good.

But I'm Still Fully Addicted To Warhawk so I don't seem to have much time for other gamez at the moment, Hehehe
I am not that rich but the truth is
I really dont have next gen console yet
T_T
Its very expensive
And I try to buy games that will have some replay value (generally the higher rated games). I'm an older gamer and I pretty much sat out last gen., so I'm getting some of the older PS2 games (like the Metal Gear Essentials, RE4, etc.)
I'm planning on getting GOW 1 & 2 at some point(gotta have the time to play them) before GOW 3 comes out.
I'm going to keep ALL of my PS3 games. If nothing else, maybe they'll become collectors items some point in the future.
Just kidding
I was hell bent for awhile on collecting everything I could gaming-wise, but then I realized a lot of this current gen stuff is a bit over priced and oddly goes down in price quicker and quicker. Older games seemed well priced back then and seem even better priced now. All those rentals can now be added to the collection... and boy does it feel like a steal when you realize these "older" games are really not that bad looking and play pretty well.
Check out a game called Breakdown, made by Namco. On the PS2 and Xbox, quite the hidden gem indeed
