After waiting anxiously for this weeks podcast, i was happily surprised on how the guys handled it on the show, i knew its how they pretty much felt already via the blogs last week, but yeah, that podcast has sure made me feel better on the matter, I'm still peeved as its unknown why it happened (and the sitting and letting it happen part), but having enough respect for the site and Jeff as reason is completely understandable
Whatever the hell it was, i feel better now, and besides, theres still tons of great staff here that i already know and love, and i knew that from the start
You Will be missed Jeff, but Never Ever Forgotten, for the things you have done for this site, and All those classic memories that will stick in our hearts forever

Well said I was annoyed about Jeff leaving but after about an hour or so, I thought all this boycott crap was nonsense. Yes gamespot won't be the same but its not like Jeff has died or anything. I think its all been blown a bit out of proportion.

yeah it has been, but i once thought it was almost worse than him dieing, since that if he died there would be great tributes and everyone could talk about it, but in the way it happened, no one was really aloud to discuss it seriously

I disagree with Stokes overthere...
Died and "left" in the end mean the same - He's gone forever. Period.
The biggest chunk of this website was just ripped out with as much force as you can imagine.
You tell me; How's this taking out of context? What GameSpot lost, was more than a crazy employee. It was it's trademark, it's paw to rely on, it's reliability.
