So I felt it was necessary to have a sweet change to my blogs... and like the title says, yeah I'm still very much swept off my feet by my dearly beloved girlfriend. I also realized that through the course of all my blogs you all have only gotten tidbits here and there about us, so I figure it's about time to I dedicate a whole blog to her.

We've been dating for 10 months, despite the struggle of maintaining a long distance relationship while we're at school. Sometimes distance makes you go bonkers, but in this case it helped strengthen our relationship. Even with physical contact and everything limited like this, I can't ever imagine things without her.

Things don't feel right without her silly, absolutely insane disposition to the random in my life. I must admit, I've caught on to many of her ridiculous habits and sayings over the last 10 months. I think what most I love about her, is her never-ending ability to make me laugh. Apparantly, I'm funny too in my goofy hit-and-miss comedic efforts, and honestly it's something hard to portray in anything else but real-life conversation... with someone I'm absolutely comfortable with.

There are literally pictures of us where we'd be making the most mind-numbingly crazy facial expressions, to the point where the only logical reaction people could get would be "WTF?", "...", "OMG!" or just plain "hot." Believe me, we have our fair share of fun and laughs.

I have had many really deep and emotional thoughts about her and my future... but sometimes I forget that I'm only about to turn 20, and that she has A LONG time to still be in my life. It's really just a joy to have someone so close. True love is ageless though... and nothing should stop it.

Yeah, so I sat around for about 5 minutes trying to come up with some quirky title for this blog but I came up with nothing. So you'll have to settle with that. Anyways, I suppose it's about time I posted some impressions and just overall feeling over my purchase of a Wii almost 2 weeks ago.

So as to not make this a system-wars-y blog, I'll just say that I'm pretty happy with it. I ended up picking Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition because it was cheap, and word was the control scheme really was awesome for it, and indeed it is. Besides that, I've been playing Brawl a ton lately, even though I only have a Wiimote and a Nunchuck.

I just now got to play Brawl with a GameCube controller, and well, I see what everyone means. Anywho, this brings up a little thing I've been toying with as of today. Normally at my dorm I don't have wireless internet access, but at home I do. So earlier I hooked up the Wii to my wireless connection here at home and it worked.

So does this mean I'm gonna hand out my friend code for Brawl? Not really. I did post my Wii number though, if that means anything. But after this Sunday my Wii isn't going to be connected anymore, so don't get excited. Yeah, online gaming with yours truly isn't going to happen quite yet. Sorry to disappoint.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm falling asleep at my keyboard due to lack of sleep. I need to catch up on some zzzzz's... oh yeah. Sleep is never overrated.

No, this is not a joke blog.

I actually stumbled upon a Wii and it so dearly called out to me in its lonely, short lifespan upon a Walmart shelf...

"Buy me!! I shall give you cookies!!"

If the thing had eyes, I swear they must have been using the cute puppy eyes on me. It was a rare sight I must say, I was shocked that there was actually a Wii within reach. And thus, I stepped into the realm of ridiculousness... to my left, the Wii. To my right... many 360's.

Enough dramatics, yes I bought the dang thing. Believe it or not, I went through a lot of reasoning, and pretty much I settled on buying the Wii and Brawl. Why? Here is my logic:

1) My roommate's friend has his 360 in my dorm room.

2) A hard-drive less 360 could pose possible problems in the future regarding storage.

3) At least for me, there are no "to-die" games on the 360 at the moment. Good games yes, absolutely must haves, not necessarily (keep in mind I've yet to really explore the 360 library...)

4) At home, I don't have an HDTV. Yeah I know, it's a shame.

5) It would be the best of both worlds to have both a Wii and a 360 in my dorm room.

6) I want to see everyone's reaction here. (Just kidding, that's not actually a reason)

So yeah, *clears throat* I have a Wii.

And for a random ending quote:

Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!!

War of the Worlds
War of the Worlds creates a very powerful, renewed image of the whole alien invasion genre, with its larger, more realistic scope and its attention to detail... and its tight action. Add to that underlying superb acting, and an uncanny sense of...

Augh, for its time it was massively popular... but Power Rangers now... look elsewhere for your entertainment, especially if you're old enough to have watched this movie when it first came out.

Crocodile
Crocodile is nothing more than a common, yet somewhat better B-Movie... with its less than stellar effects, somewhat goofy lines and such... it doesn't get too far, but its still a decent budget film for cable TV.
