As it has been always said, Metal Gear Solid 4 is a Playstation 3 exclusive, but will it really be?

Last year there were a couple of rumors that Metal Gear Solid 4 was also going to be released for the Xbo360 sometime when the Playstation 3 version was finished, Konami representatives also said that if Playstation 3 didn't reach a console selling point then they would release an Xbox360 port of the game.

Now in the other hand, MGS4 creator Hideo Kojima has always said that MGS4 is going to be a Playstation 3 exclusive, and as stated in one of their reports at the Kojima Productions blog, Ryan Payton, stated that if anyone wanted to play Metal Gear Solid 4, then he/she will have to buy a PS3.

According to XboxFamily, Metal Gear Solid 4 will be coming to the Xbox 360 within 12 to 14 months after the PS3 version hits retail this spring. The information comes from a Konami representative while speaking at an undisclosed distribution meeting, says XboxFamily." And the article mentions something that this is not a rumor.

Would Konami launch MGS4 to Xbox360 in the case that Playstation 3 doesn't reach the required amount of sold consoles to have MGS4 on his side? Or there are other issues involved? Will it be another rumor instead?
